A truly great Pope, the last valid Pope we've had; his successors all being schismatic heretics, if not apostates from the faith. This was a man beloved for his warmth and compassion, who nevertheless intended to retain the Faith, outside of which it's impossible to please God, whole and inviolate. He sought to retain and strengthen the Traditional Latin Mass, and make the timeless Tradition of the Church relevant to our age. He has truly earned the epithet, "Il Buono Papa", the "Good Pope".

Excellent documentary on Blessed Pope John! It shows how dynamic a man he was in executing the boundaries of his faith and leadership, following in the footsteps of Christ Jesus. The ending feels cut off leaving one with the desire to see more, but it as appreciated for what it is. Great stuff!!!
