  • Could you possibly use magnets to make the blade move faster?

  • looks very out of balance, wouldnt try to use it for making power

  • what type of wood did you use on the smaller darker blade? (for 3 bucks and 20 mins you realy cant get much better)

  • @atpuck It was regular 2x4 just stained.

I liked your turbine post but you didn't do anything with it... Why not hook it to a car alternator and a battery like your solar panel?

  • oh my god the whole post is shaking ! is the whole thing safely balanced ???

    I wouldn't try it myself

  • Hi! greenpowerscience

I come just to see your "WIND HANDCRAFTED BLADE TURBINE WINDMILL" and I find it is looking great and performant, so I ask me if it possible to have a video or just documentation on how you cut the blade.

I see your other video and I want to thank you for all you do for green. Thank.

  • Looks like the back nut on 36" got loose. you need 2 there to snug. The second acts as locking nut.

  • So how about a video on how to do the cutting? Please?

  • I prefer the VAWT design with the squirrel cage that you did earlier. How about experimenting with Aerotectures design which can be VAWT or HAWT ?

  • Hi Odziz,

The verticals are cool. With this video, I wanted to demo a way to make blades in under 1 hour. The cool thing about these are, I could make 100 8 foot blades in a week with enough effort and they would cost about $400 including wood and electric + tool supplies. I am finishing a big squirrel design that takes about 4 hours to make and is 47" diameter and 47" tall. All wood.
