  • My baby-daddy is a Vulcan... I 'bout died laughing...! Long live Leonard Nimoy!

  • "Welcome aboard the Starship Enterprise. Today's in-flight movie is 'Big Momma's House 2'"

  • None of this was funny.

  • one of the stars!?HE is actually the core which all stars revolve around in a galaxy in this film!

  • @jaja1818 Did you just call Leonard Nimoy a black hole?!

  • @silarnon yup..i would have actually said blackhole but many might flame me.=)so i left it for people to just imagine..glad to see people like you finally said something=) was actually waiting for someone to say that..LOL

  • OK ive seen that movie 5 times in theaters and now i ow nit and i have NEVER notices ANY of those

  • lame when they just tack on to a real quote, perhaps except for the Arbys one. Live long and prosper, and blah blah... stupid. Set phasers to Fabulous I liked.

  • A line that should be in Star Trek IV: Admiral What are those goofy weirdly dressed humans over there? Spock I believe they are what we called Nerds.

  • First 2 minutes are a lame ass set up for the joke

  • never liked this guy..don't find him funny at all

  • i love you leonard!

even as a old man your still sooooo cute!

  • David Letterman needs a slap in his stupid mouth.

  • clearly he is so clearly just reading some random shit of a paper he cares nothing about. At least fake some faint intrest in what you are making millions of dollars doing.. gosh..

  • He's alive Jim!

  • Letterman looks angry.

  • Number 3 killed it for me. And surprisingly, number 1 was funny.

  • Obviously, Letterman is more of a Star Wars fan than a Star Trek fan.

  • 1kissbee yes ok but this refurs to films. ps inever realy watched star trak tos... i am more tng, ds9, voy and enterprise... so most of my knolage of kerk comes from film

  • i liked that maury bit

  • My favorites are "My baby -daddy is a Vulcan" and "We're entering a breach in the space-time continuum or a wormhole or some crazy crap like that." LOL!!

  • also beem me up scotty was never said

  • @mcflymorg but it was said in the tv show

  • Gawd, Letterman's a douche...

  • It's great -- except for Letterman, who seems utterly bored and isn't a bit funny.

  • Where do fans of the original Star Trek television series work out?

    The "He's Dead Gym" (Jim)

  • The advertisement was a priceline commercial featuring Bill Shatner.

I love Leonard Nimoy, only he could say such ridiculous lines and make them sound as if they belonged in the show. TOS!Spock ftw.

    SET PHASERS TO FABULOUS!

  • It's amazing to see a man of Leonard Nimoy's age and still look so good. This is about a three to four years old appearance and I believe he is 80 years old now, as is Bill Shatner. KOOL !

  • Love you Mr. Nimoy!

  • this list is illogical

  • I know Nimoy turns 80 this month (as does Shatner, they were born just 4 days apart), but his voice is totally shot. He still looks like Spock, but he doesn't sound the same at all.

  • did anyone else find that to be just plain SToooPID who writes this crap!!!!

  • Is this funny in America?

  • @EddieTheFishReturns he wishess

  • DId Dave fart at 1:24?

  • Star Wars?.......blasphemy.......LoL

  • Not sure which is funnier, the lsit or Letterman saying Star Wars instead of Star Trek multiple times...

  • Is it just me or is does Leonard Nimoy not look right without pointy ears?

  • Number 8 is something Sulu probably said at some point.

  • WHY WON'T CBS VIDS PLAY FOR ME?

  • Really, the Stella Superbowl Commercial, really?

  • This is why...I love Leonard Nimoy <3

  • That man is sex on a stick!

  • You say Starwars I say fu

  • Eye-roll.

    Dumb. Smiling, but dumb.

  • Well, I was going to look at some Star Trek on Netflix, but after having seen Leonard on Letterman, and all of these clips, bloopers, etc., etc. I think I'll just go to bed. You can also find my cousin's film, "Kings of the Evening" in your stores now. That is really a good film. Go to Kings of the Evening dot com to check it out.

  • What's the deal with the dead guy next to Leonard Nimoy?

  • Keep on bangin' Bro

  • He is not a trekkie it would seem.

  • 6: "We've been hijacked by Somali pirates."

LOL I was busting up on that one

  • "Live long, prosper, and keep on hangin' and bangin' "

Damn, I want a t-shirt that says that!

  • @arm8200 Cafe Press will custom make one for you, and about as much as any other t-shirt would cost.

  • ROFL

    Somali Pirates

  • i hate the fucking commertial

  • Set phasers to fabulous! Rofl!

  • No worry, David, I do it too. We named our geo-software-system after that 60's show, literally, "StarTrak", in 1983, at the Star company of the day: Texaco. Trust your car to the Star. It was a moment, very special. But the software outlived us all, because of the show's inspiration, good and bad, on a bunch of forward thinking nerds.

  • I think he did a little too much LDS...

  • I think number 8 and 2 were definitely the bests.

  • I thought number 9 and 2 were great XD

  • ahaha sad, he says sum sht bout star trek and more pplzz are clappin thn tht time sum bitch threw a bottle at biebers disfigured head

  • f.u. cbs, not every media event can be monitized or advertised...thumbs way down...

  • This is actually worse to watch than the Ballad of Bilbo Baggins.

  • Nice pronunciation of Nimoy there Letterman. -.-'

  • 1:50 a shout to the fans live long and prosper

  • "Set phasers to fabulous!", lmao, five bucks says Takei slipped that one in! ;}

  • @tjstevens74 Slipped what in where now? :P

  • I was waiting for the line: "This is your quarters, this is the food replicator – and the bathroom is over there."

I wonder why no-one ever asks about it, either...

  • StarWars? Jeez dude. wtf.

  • God I hate letterman

  • wow, how about "Captain, we're encountering an energy field of a type we've encountered before." ? cuz that Never gets said!

  • Fringe? Spak's father?

  • What's the deal with old guys and giant glasses?

  • @nanbarberable It may surprise you to learn that as people age, their eyesight often diminishes in quality, and that some of the more severe corrective lenses don't come in small or otherwise aesthetically pleasing options (by society's standards) lol.

  • @Vamphaery I was referring to an old David Letterman gag - lol. The joke's on me - I'm one of those people whose eyesight is, er, diminishing in quality!

  • @nanbarberable Oh, okay, then forget the comment I said to Vamphaery about your! LOL!

  • Hahahaha, Nimoy is the Best! <3

  • Oh my God... I ate a big dinner and almost barfed with laughter when I watched this!! XD

  • The odd-numbered Star-Trek movies always suck, starting from #1. Number eleven was no exception. JJ Abrams needs to WATCH the DAMMED SHOW at least once before he tries again.

  • Live long, prosper, and keep on hangin and bangin! I defianely wanna see Zach Quinto try that in the next film

  • Nimoy does not find these lines funny. That is what's funny!

  • set phasers to fabulous lmao

how i wish it were acceptable to say this in regular society...

  • Just start the video at 2:00 to save time.

  • Tea, earl gray, lukewarm.

  • Nimoy is the man! A standing O from the audience, well deserved. Love how he keeps saying Star 'TREK' to Dave. As if to say get it right you noob!

  • How about, "Captain Sulu, what you're doing with that young ensign is most illogical."

  • What a bore ass! Dave that is.

  • Leonard Nimoy is voicing Master Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep before he retires.

  • The best one was A Goose hit The Enterprise We will have to land in the hudson river.

  • That was fantastic...

  • Leonard Nimoy=Win.

  • Dave was right--it WAS a Star Wars film.

    A prequel.

  • #8 FTW!

  • @TurboKirara george should have said that one

  • Leonard should have beamed in.

  • I think that if Letterman would have read these off instead of Nemoy, it would not have been nearly as funny.

  • Set phasers to fabulous!

  • For the 100th time David,...........It's "STAR TREK" not "STAR WARS" you moron!

  • EPIC FAIL.

How the heck do you get Star Wars and Star Trek mixed up? O_o

  • @DarthxxRane its on purpose

  • he smiles alot, when he is not acting as spock. weiiird.

  • dave was too busy thinking about that chick backstage

  • I'm thinking he's drunk or something.

  • Lincoln hangs himself in regards to Negro slavery, taxation, Habeas Corpus, & states' rights. The man was consistently on the wrong side of any given issue. Let us strive to find an historical personage more deserving of our worship.

  • I was going to pick a favorite of the Top 10 Lines Never Before Said In A Star Trek Film...

But they're ALL hilarious, and so is Leonard- coming out with the double Vulcan Salute, and the crowd goes wild... what does THAT tell you about the lasting star power of Nimoy, Spock, and Trek?

Live Long, Everyone, and... Yep... :p

  • Sorry to double post, but OH MY GOODNESS I DIDN'T KNOW LEONARD NIMOY WAS ON THIS VIDEO I ALMOST DIED!!!! Good thing none of my roommates are home, I was jumping up and down and squee-ing like a crazy person. Aaahhhh I love him!!!!!!

  • Dave, you FAIL!! Bahahahahaha.

  • also "beam me up scotty" was never said...contrary to popular belief

  • Does anyone else hear the fart at 1:25?

  • Star Trek Rocks!

  • star TREK damn it!!!!

  • God letterman you suck! STAR TREK!!! how freak'in hard is it to say!

  • How about "He's not dead, Jim."

  • that's such an old joke though...

  • @sporks811 See what I posted 9 months ago...

  • I think that "The Enterprise just hit a goose, we're gonna have to land inthe Hudson." should've been #2 and #1 should be "Live long, prosper, and keep on hangin' and bangin'."

  • "...or some crazy crap like that."

    GENIUS!!!

  • "Set phasers to fabulous."

Leonard Nimoy= better than chocolate covered awesome.

  • Keep on hangin' and bangin'!!

  • hey, lets all quote lines from the videos like idiots. it will be fun

  • @ecoots I'd thumbs-up you, but so many people thumbs-down'd that I can't now. xD

  • I just saw this and almost fell apart laughing. How on earth Mr. Nimoy manages to deliver something so seriously and yet know it's totally absurd is beyond me. Other than to say it's a gift. A truly good actor will be able to laugh at him/herself. With grace.

  • well said

  • He's worked with William Shatner since before the first green animal woman donned a hideous wig in the Star Trek pilot. I feel that may have something to do with his remarkable ability to keep a straight face.

  • @doveswife Because he is an emotionless Vulcan. They do that.

  • "Live long, prosper, and keep on hangin' and bangin'!"

Am I the only one who thinks that'd be cool on a t-shirt?

  • Nope, you're not! LOL!

  • Heehee. "...Or some crazy crap like that."

  • nimoy is awesome!

  • 4. "My baby-daddy is a Vulcan" on the next "Maury"

Oh man, I love Leonard Nimoy.

I don't care how old he is, I'd still jump on that!

  • Epic win! I totally know what you mean xD

  • agreed!

  • @Demithegoddess me too! lol

  • @Demithegoddess hes not even young looking in the original series.

  • Ditto.

  • @Demithegoddess OMFG WTF WEARD ASS

  • @misuiki6324 Well. Apparently there are at least 65 other people who agree with me :p Don't be jealous, I'm sure SOMEONE will want to get with you when your that old. (wouldn't hold my breath tho)

  • @Demithegoddess I hear that, sister...Heh...I'd want my baby-daddy to be half-Vulcan.

  • Am I the only one who when he said 11th film thought: "Wait eleven? There's only...oh wait yeah the Next Generation ones."

  • Screw you! (/kid)

The new Spock is so huggable, I could cry. Live long, Vulcan! :3

  • A new crew?

    Like Voyager?

    Like Enterprise?

Plueze, like those were so LOVED by the fanbase and public alike.

Why not reboot and start from the beginning? A new beginning. The original purpose of Star Trek was to introduce a world of united humanity and technological freedom. Yet, I would like to see a story where Uruha is just another talented crewmen, instead of OMG a nigress in space?! Or where Russian heritage doesn't have to be played for laughs so that the audience doesn't hate Commies.

  • Well first off all I find the word "nigress" to be racist and yes I know you are black but still such language has no place in modern society.

Second shows like Enterprise, TNG, Voyager, DS9 never tried to replace the original. That is what this movie is doing. Third shows such as Enterprise, Voyager and others were produced by people who worked with Roddenberry. This movie trashes his vision. Don't worry in about 15 years some director will trash a show you grew up with & U will understand

  • If you think the word nigress is racist, you are superficially politically correct. But anyway, I didn't use that word for shock value, it was what she was called in the show. Granted, by Abe Lincoln. SHE wasn't offended, why are you?

Well, the trashing has already happened. Transformers. XD

And just because they were made by BerryPeople doesn't mean much. They changed the theme multiple times, but that doesn't bother you? The movie was of good value. And like I said most people dislike crews.

  • Like I said, SHE was called that word in the show for a reason, to highlight the difference of our world to the utopia Berry envisioned. The show aired in the middle of the damn Civil Rights movement for a reason. So, why should I think any of the word, either? XD

And, even without Uhura's classiness, why WOULD I care about that? It's a word that means I'm a female of African decent. What, am I supposed to cry because they couldn't call them by tribe names? So what? Shit happened.

  • "but they were all disappointments to the fans of the show."

No, it's a disappointment to you. Many fans enjoyed it. Including many of the reviewers. It's gotten great, great reviews from many people. 95% tomatoes.

  • Anyway, like I was saying before the PC lecture, in an age where nig---hmmm... BLACK professional women are normal, what can Uhura's character develop into? In an age where the Red Scare doesn't work anymore, is Chevie free to be more than just The Russian One. Sulu, too.

  • I refer you to a minireview of Star Trek I gave on a fan review that highlighted my main concern of a remake of TOS, which is refitting the themes of TOS for a more enlightened generation.

I see you were too distracted by the word "nigress" to notice that. XD

Search "Trekkies Hooked On Star Trek Placebos"

  • Hey, don't mock fangirls! Don't you think WE are some of the most sensitive of fans? XD

What can I say? The character arc of Spock in that movie was dead on. When he saw _____ and couldn't _____ I wanted to run up and HUG him, to comfort him. But ____ did it for me. I was crying so much, and their choice to show their relationship through real comfort was very tasteful.

"We won't try to be clever or cute. We'll just show it."

  • @HappyCabbie

I am so fucking sick of people pulling the "I was here first so I'm more of a fan" card. Get over yourself. Just because some people discovered Star Trek thanks to the reboot, or were born after the original run of the series, does not make them any less of a fan.

In any case, the new movie can be treated as an entirely new crew, thanks to the alternate reality plot. JJ was respectful of the original, stayed true to Gene's vision, and gave the franchise a needed coat of paint.

    LLAP

  • no correction needed

  • You're wrong.

  • Your wrong.

  • The last few comments are from fucking fucks who fucking fuck themfuckingselves......shitheads!!!!!!!!!!

  • the list is usually lame no matter what the topic is.

  • It's just so sad how Nimoy's voice has degraded in the last few years.

He sounds like he has a mouthful of cotton nowadays.

  • I think he would have been fine with this. I think he would NOT be fine with star trek after he left.

  • I've actually said "Sat phasers to Fabulous" before. XD

  • Letterman AND Nimoy rock...screw all you fanboy LOSERS crying like little unlaid babies over this very entertaining new film 'not being Trek'...as Shatner once brilliantly stated on SNL in 1986...'Get a LIFE, people!'

  • star trek you ass!!!!!!!

  • the movie was beyond awesome.

  • A W E S O M E ! is a wonderful way to describe this STAR TREK movie, that stands by itself as an incredible movie expereince.... no matter what any gay fuckers may say !!!!!!
