Think about it: If you were trying to get re-elected. And knew that 22% of the US population was Catholic (67 MILLION people). And you had the opportunity to speak (give a ?dialogue? or more accurately give a monologue) to the most well know Catholic university in the world televised nationally in front of millions of both catholic and non catholic viewers. Wouldn't you tell them what they wanted to hear, not necessarily the truth, just to get their vote when re-election comes about!

Obama tells eagerly listening graduates of Notre Dame how he will
"Let's honor the conscience of those who disagree with abortion, and draft a sensible conscience clause".
HOWEVER he is doing just the opposite.
His administration has already proposed overturning a measure President Bush put in place to uphold three conscience laws.
I hope Notre Dame and their graduates and any viewer could see this hypocrisy.
