Your comment about female characters really got to me there, I Loled... When I played WoW I only made female toons, because personally they look better. It's not gay, a lot of people do it. Now hitting on a female toon on videos games. Is sad imo.

that white mage thing reminds me of when I was playing Phantasy Star Universe and I was playing as a Force (a mage persay) and my character was modeled after Aerith from FFVII, and I met a random person who's character was modeled after Cloud, and of course he tried to talk to me and my friend ran over to me and yelled "mine" and we both ran off XD, I know that this probably isn't the right time to say that

I agree Zack, healers are generally healers in video games. I play most female characters because it... I dunno gives me influence to keep that character alive. I'm glad you did these videos serenia. When I was younger I had the same dilema with trying to fit in and change according to what people said. I turned into a trouble maker and was fake. It wasn't until my teens when I said screw it. I never told any of my friends that I played video games or watched anime or collected comics and even my musical taste was limited to rap music becuase all my friends listened to it and I thought they would make fun of me for branching out.

Ugh, I understand what you are saying here too. I play females almost exclusively online and I don't tell people usually because I worry about what they'd say/think. I've almost always beeen people's shoulder like you too. No one else will listen, so I do. I have helped many of my friends with love trouble though I've never had that kind of relationship myself. I know how you feel with the whole being emotional thing and being called gay too. Rock on Zack! =D

As stupid as this sounds (and i do mean stupid coming from me) i understand the idea of wanting negative feedback at times in order to know not everyone is being "yesmen". The idea of sometimes having a few people say no helps make the yeses stand out.

I've never actually thought about it that way, but yeah thats exactly it. Negative reinforcement can be just as good as positive reinforcement provided that there is a balance of each. If its too much positive reinforcement you might get egotistical or something, and too much negative... well... we've all seen the dark sides of depression ^^;

You know, one advice I can say since I can relate to most of the things you said, is that I discovered that the more people I interact with, the more I know I'm not that different. In school I was always trying to be the different guy, by standing in a corner flying into my own little world, and often I tried to pretend that I knew what everyone was thinking of me, like "This guy is so mysterious" etc. In the end I was just shutting myself out from reality=start acting, stop thinking. .

Don't feel like you're alone in what you feel, meet new people and you'll see how many feel the same way, even if its not in person and online its still interaction, like I'm writing here right now, I can live in the other side of the world and yet here I am giving a little advice, the internet is just a universal way to interact, which is where I have also learned many things

as far as the videos go, you're not going to please everyone all the time. there are some people that won't like them, and will voice their opinion about them. it's ok to honor their opinion, and work to make it better, if they proved a valid point.

I've never had that problem wiht MMOs before...And the people who try and hit on you are just odd. And I know that whole crying on the shoulder thing. Couple of my friends do that too. And I think it'd be cool to take psychology. If it interests you, give it a shot, and you may find a career you love
