  • Loved this show.

  • The jokes on this show are flat and Andy dick is no help.

  • @incrediblehulkmovies Right over your head huh?

  • @apocalyptichybrid2 You don't think these punchlines could be better? You don't find Andy Dick annoying?

  • @incrediblehulkmovies Well this is the last episode of season 4 and the last performance of Phil Hartman, and it's one of two "specialty" episodes, the other being the episode Space. So being this episode's story took place in 1912, the punchlines and humor are not strong unless you're a true fan of the show like myself and most of the others here. So truth be told it's all opinion, and yours is a minority here so just find something else to watch if you don't like it. Love Andy in NewsRadio.

  • "Just tell her I'm busy acting or something..." Hope everyone caught that at the beginning. ;)

  • I Love this intro!!!!!

id like to have some WNYX cups and plates and if possible all the staff in that heart shape locket and lets not forget the WNYX floater

  • i love love love this episode!!

  • I MISS PHIL HARTMAN. News Radio was hilarious. Should have been massive in the UK :(

  • sweet costumes, makes me jealous...

  • A brief reappearance of the cane! Yes!!

    Miss ya Phil.

  • I love the opening sequence on this one, I guess I like all the opening music and all that stuff for news radio, but this one is great. Was this Phil Hartmans last episode?

  • @Parley454 Yes. 16 days after this episode first aired in the US, Hartman was tragically murdered by his wife.

  • A swift kick to the gludious assamis! Lol

  • One of the best short lines in this series.

  • Why wasn't Vicki Lewis in the opening credits?

  • Because as stated in this video description she was not in this episode. I'm not sure if she was doing a film or just taking a break.

  • Vicki Lewis absent because she was filming "Godzilla" in Toronto.

  • i think it would have been smarter to do this classic episode instead of that terrible Godzilla flick. she was probably paid well, though

  • @apocalyptichybrid2 to not have Vicki in Titanic spoof is tragic :(

  • @manofice299 I think she was filming Godzilla at the time

  • Phil Hartman, one of the funniest people I've ever seen on TV. I sure miss watching him do his thing.

  • i hope walt leaves the show soon.... i'm not a fan

  • Walt disappears quite quickly, he's OK here in his minor role and had good chemistry with Bill but that obviously doesn't matter after this one.

  • if Joe wanted to detect objects in the ocean he would need sonar. not radar.

  • Even though most mistakenly coin sonar as radar you are correct, two different things completely. But it's a sitcom, not CSI. lol

  • Actually, on all the ships I've sailed we've only ever had radar. Which works fine for detecting surface objects like ships or icebergs ( there will always be a portion above water ). Even if you had sonar it is usually deployed in a passive fashion. So not much use for detecting stationary objects, like icebergs.

  • I JUST FIGURED IT OUT!!

the first words phil says is "just tell her im busy acting or something." must have been his wife on the phone. then later she saw that he wasnt acting, but merely introducing his last episode...

  • Yes, that line was referring to his wife and it's something the writers threw in because it was well know around the set that Brynn called Phil constantly during taping, especially during the 4th season.

  • Every time I hear him speak a line and realize he will never act again... it makes me sad.

  • That's so sad. Phil Hartman was such a great actor and comedian. He really one of the greats.

How horribly ironic is it that those were his last words on the show?

A similar thing happened with Vincent Price. The last seen he was ever in (in Edward Scissorhands) was a death scene.

  • It's strange that, isn't it?

How People on the television, actors, often say something like that, right before They die, in person.

    RIP. Phil Hartman.

  • R.I.P. Phil. A man of many great characters. Tremendous episode. Thank you for posting.
