I just wanted to say That Dragon Age Origins was the Best RPG ive ever played in my Life

i played through it 4 Times

as Warrior, as 2 Handed Rogue, As Rogue with a Bow, and as an Two Handed Warrior Dwarf

2 nd and 3 rd Time was the Best

Oh and i hated Dragon Age 2

@evok0999 Play each class up till a certain point (the battle of Ostagar and after the tower Ogre is a nice small point, you can go further if you wish) and find out which one you like better.

if you're planning a sword, shield warrior then you'll be a tank, meaning taking the damage and alot of it, better to go dual wield or 2 hander (again your choice) 2h tends to be slow but strong.

For mage again up to you, choose what you like but have cold spells to freeze enemies.

yea not gonna lie the Arcane Warrior is a terrific build however I could not live without a Blood Mage or Spirit Healer in the party which I mean Morrigan acts better as a blood mage and I've tried giving her the Arcane Warrior spec too but I still need to tinker around with it. The only good Arcane Warrior I ever made was my main character with Anders from Awakening. I only gave Wynne the specialization for Origins cause I figured the armor would be good.

@ONIzukaDAYO I did this in 22 seconds without using a mod... main char is a berserker lvl 13 with 48 str and the Ageless Silverlite greatsword. only help he had was with Morrigan, btw i finished the Morrigan achievement, if u know what i mean ;)

Tbh, same point that applies to most RPGs: Skill is overpowered. I took on Nightmare with a 2handed warrior reaver/zerker solo and barely used any potions at all. Rogue, meanwhile, didn't need any at all to solo nightmare...

Incidentally, Arcane Warriors have insane burst, but on a 30-second fight, a well played team based on single target damage (four DW rogues baton passing aggro around, or four Archery rogues work well) should be higher dps...

Without talents and spells, definitely not. Do note however that in this video Arcane Warriors are running around with boatloads of sustainable (spells) talents and that AW is overpowered class. I learned that in Baldur's Gate when I tried Kensai/Mage (who is basically fighter & mage -hybrid).

I wasn't trying to brag or anything, I was merely pointing out that you don't need this sort of OPed team setup to beat the game on Nightmare long as you know well enough how combat works.

@MJ1284 Then my apology for the misinterpretation. However, reading it a second time still seems arrogant but if tone were added, perhaps not. Yea I can see what you mean by Baldur's hybrid. I haven't had a chance to play with the AW yet, probably because I like the SH and BM specs for mages alot and continue using them (although it feels a bit cheap that I can circulate using up health for combat and mana for healing) and I been trying to figure out if archery is best for rogues or warriors.

@Gogetankz I was planning on making DA video but seeing that there's already plenty of "Revenant/Gaxkang solo" -videos people probably wouldn't care to watch someone taking them on with full group.

Archery is definitely better for Rogues, Bard/Duelist works best IMO. Raise DEX to 30 (for Arrow of Slaying) + rest to CUN, you'll find plenty "+X DEX" items. With CUN you can utilize Lethality's damage increase & Song of Courage. Your Crit% will be around 20 depending on your gear and CUN rating.

I did it lvl 11 with my dualwield warrior, dualwield alone on the revenant, the team ont the skeletons. The revenant died faster than the skulls. The whole battle took 10 sec.

@threedead The mage isn't really overpowered, it's just that it's way easier to understand and make good use of a mage than a rogue or warrior. Once you delve really deep into the game, you'll see that the war and rogue are complete beasts in their own rights.

Then again, most DAO players won't go deep enough into the game to hit this point, since it takes several playthroughs.

lol xD There are no Ghost Warriors in this vid. The ones looking like ghosts ARE the arcane warriors. The last skill "Fade Shroud" makes them look like ghosts when they activate their main buff.
