Moreso than the credit going to Babyface for his directing, Olivia put her own spin on the song, time and her maturing as an artist is what made this song better than the original. Babyface is a good producer, but Olivia deserves to be recoginized and given credit for this song. She is great and would have brought this to the table regardless of who had produced it.

I agree with your comments about Olivia; she definitely got better as she matured. Soul Kiss is the perfect illustration, as it was way ahead of it's time. But I do feel Babyface was the right man for the job as he knows how to handle a love song in a modern vein without going too far. The master stroke to me was handling the remix and being very sensitive to the original.
