Those home cockpit are soo great that I wonder why it could not be use for public where people could rent hours, first with you, as an instructor and then get their approval for coming and flying it on their own?
@GidazEFC98 oh ok, thanks, why have they created a joystick for control i think alot of proplr would rather have a yoke! more control and everything, do you agree
@Calum643 apparently there is far more than what meets the eye.
This man in the video is very clever at what he has done and this is what I call talent. However, do you expect a five year old to understand this kind of technology? Regarding what you have said regarding the guy in the video as a "grown man and sad"? It is you that needs to get a life! ;)
None at the moment, more vids are to come next year. We're working very hard to finish the project early 2012. So at the moment there are no time for vids, sorry.
If you want to know how much it is and which parts we've used, please have a look further down in this thread. Some months earlier I explained it. Thank you, and best regards.
And to think, all this money could have gone to flying a real A320. It is cool though, don't get me wrong, but what do you do when you wanna fly a smaller plane on the sim?
@bmjake I have to agree. I build sims and I am a real pilot. I enjoy flying alot of different aircraft in simulation so I found a way to enjoy all of them but in real world scale. Obviously my method has some limitations..but it sure costs alot less!
They should make these pre setup, just with loose plugs for your pc, in the back of a truck or a big box you can get shipped to you house for like 20k
whaaaaaaaa!! i am soo stunned! I'd like a 767-300ER of this kind! but i'd be satisfied with a cessna caravan already! this is a true dream! maybe when i win the lotery...
Me myself, I'm a B1 & B2 Aerospace Maintenance Engineer, and I gotta say that's one heck of a cockpit. I wanna build an A380 cockpit... I need help... :)
just out of curiosity are you a commercial pilot? I cant wait to become a pilot of myself although I'm going to take a major of mechanical engineering aeronautical systems in west point military academy.
Can u make it short for me please, instead of reading your comments, I just wanna know if I can have it for the same price, cause am welling to pay in cash and get it.
You can`t buy this cockpit in one piece. 50% are selfmade. Other 50% there are many different parts from FlightDeckSolutions, Cockpitsonic and Simparts. Next you need some computers and the software (airsimtech), you need the electronic parts (EPIC in our case) to fiddle it all together and last ut not least the visual system, which has to be planned very exactly. Buying a cockpit in such a state is possible (FlightDecksolutions f.e.), the price is huge (between 10.000 Euro and 100.000 Euro).
I love the table :))
