Lol. I was never into Dragon Ball Z, but my friend and I used to play this game all the time and I really liked it. I don't remember it being it Japanese though... o_o

Great tutorial, you basically showed everything it has to do with the game even the parts which were in the episode, but different from the game. I'd have to rate this 5/5

I bought it off an Australian site called Games Warehouse about 4-5 years ago. I don't know if they still have it though, I haven't gone on it in years.

I noticed this game is rare even in america it was very difficult for me to find a copy i rented it 3 times I finally found one to buy at gamestop but it took me a few years to get a hold of one the gamecube version is better because it has more costumes and fusions I think.

The X button makes the currently selected character search the ground in the spot they're on. The Y button just skips their turn.

I found a copy of the GC Budokai 2 on Ebay. While I can deal with the English dubbed version, I'd love the Japanese one though.

the japanese games are the players choice ones i think cos i hav one nd its japanese bt it got so scratched up i cant play duel mode or story mode...im well gutted but i ordeered another one its in english i also orderd budokai 2 with it

Yeah my copy is a player's choice one and it has the japanese voiceovers which you can hear in the video.

how do you charge up man?

Move the control stick twice in the direction your character isn't facing, but do it quickly and after the second one hold the stick in place. Then you should start charging up. To stop, just let go of the control stick.

this game was ported into a english version for us i have both GCN DBZ and they are both english u must have the PAL not the NTSC version

Yeah that's what I have, obviously. But the answer to your question is no, I don't believe a version of this game with the characters speaking English exists.

I think the only one where they actually speak English is budokai 3 on ps2, but I'm not absolutely 100% sure. I'm just goin with what I know.
