kann mir jemand sagen, wesshalb in der deutschen version von dem film mission adler also armour of god, mache stellen nicht ins deutsche sinkronisiert sind, sondern in chinesisch oder mandarin????

@possibleoner Weil die alte deutsche Fassung auf der englischen Exportfassung basierte, welche um ein paar Szenen erleichtert wurde. Der Dialog in den nichtsynchronisierten Szenen wurde dann für diese neue Fassung einfach in Kantonesisch belassen und einfach untertitelt, weil man vielleicht Geld sparen wollte und nicht extra diese paar Szenen neusynchronisieren wollte. Hoffe, das beantwortet deine Frage.

kann sein dass ich mich irre aber ist "Armour of God" im Deutschen nicht bekannt als "Der starke Arm der Götter" ? Mission Adler ist afaik "Operation Condor" und hat im deutschen den Untertitel "Der rechte Arm der Götter" ??

@FallenDevilNO Ich glaube eher andersrum. "Armour of God" ist "Der rechte Arm der Götter" und "Armour of God 2" ist "Der starke Arm der Götter". Zumindest laut der DVDs.

The scene in the end credits when he falls down from the tree and hit's his head (his most serious injury to date) was filmed in Slovenia. That castle in the movie is actually called predjamski grad. I never knew a great movie like this was filmed in our little country (then it was still part of old yugoslavia).

Love this movie, one of the first movies I would watch as a kid! I rmember before the movie started on VHS - There where adverts/trailers of other movies and they looked really cool, something like desert fox? a war movie. Does anyone have a list of the movies that preview before this on the UK VHS?? would appreciate it as I've lost my copy on VHS!

Haha this is so cool. When i was young I got hold of the german copy and I loved it! I loved the german voices and saw it hundreds of times. Later when I saw the english dubbed version it wasn't at all as cool as the german. Anyone know where to get hold of the german copy?

That's because the german versions of the movies at that time were (mostly) based on the english versions.

Not "english version". Jackie released the movie back in the 80s as "international version" with his songs in some countries of the world! When today the movie is released abroad they normally use the "normal" HK version that only has Alan Tam singing... The international version seems to be forgotten.
