Im suprised how well dallas defense is this year i was expecting a drop off with chandler gone . Hopefully we get a rematch of last years finals cause Dallas has Miamis number in a seven game series. Dirk is NOT one dimensional.... he can shoot from anywhere, he can post-up, he can drive, he's among the best in getting to the FT line, he's been a top 15 scorer in the last 10 years (over 21,000 points and counting), he's among the best passing big-men in the last 10 years, he's been a top 10 in defensive rebounds in the last 10 years, he's made numerous clutch plays and game-winners, and plays good defense. He's done pretty much everything (except NBA title), to secure a place in the HOF.
Such an underrated superstar Dirk is, he might be best remembered as a shooter, but he's more than. He's so good in moving w/o the ball, has a good low-post game, and a superb high-post game. That fade-away shot of his rates among the best ever, and his mid-range game is unbelievable. His defense is much improved (often makes steals and blocks), and is among the best passing big-men in recent years. Uncanny 3-point shooter for his height, and ability to get to the FT line (shoots 87-90%).
