  • i m so sad

  • FUck AUng San He a dick had

  • @FuckTatMerDawSpdc Screw you!!!!!!!!!!! You obviously don't believe in Burmese freedom and unity!

  • A group of Burmese (30) known as 'Yebaw Thone Kyait' secretly went to Japan to train as puppet soldiers for Imperial Japan. When it looked like the Allies were winning, suddenly they turned on their masters, the Japanese! Talk about turncoats!

The Burma Independence Army (or whatever they want to call themselves) DID NOT EXPEL THE JAPANESE! Nein, nyet, non, never,.....

  • @LordMountbatten1 , I am curious that Are you and "myatthwin62" same person? Because these two persons joined Youtube at the same day and insulted General Aung San & also mentioned the same website. Curious minds want to know.

  • Don't you have a rebuttal? Do you agree with their posts? Don't dodge the issue here? Do you or do you not agree?

  • @LordMountbatten1 I am confused about one of your comment, you said that "BURMA IS LIBERATED BY OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Not the British, Indian, and certainly not Burmese." Who are you talking about your brothers and sisters? Also,I prefer to debate politics face2 face, that way the discussion's always civil& we can always agree to disagree. & I think arguing on the internet is the same as participating in SpecialOlympic. No matter who win the argument, everyone involved sounds like retards.

  • face it burma will never get its freedom someoneneed to kill than shwe

  • ...

  • lol

  • About that time, within a week of being captured and hanged, as the Allied Forces advanced toward Rangoon, on March 27, 1945 the Denfence Minister Aung San conveniently truned coat and saved his skin or head. The rest of collaborators or socalled Thakhins also conveniently became Anit-Fascist Burma Independent Movement. BURMA IS LIBERATED BY OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS! Not the British, Indian, and certainly not Burmese.

  • Then he talked to British PM in London and finally got the promise of independence. He united >100 different ethnic groups in the country. They all trusted him. He was assassinated before the country got her freedom. He was open and honest. His speeches were very short but bloody true. One of his campaigns was, "I can't give you all the promises you wanted. But if we all work hard together, I will make sure all these to happen. If u like it, vote for me but if u don't, do not vote for me."

  • He was the independent leader who fought against British and Japan for Burma. He was only 24 when he inspired the whole country to go on strike against the British government. He founded an army of 30 with the help of Japan at the age of 26. The whole country joined his army and had ~200,000force, the first Burmese army. He was the chief commander and drove the British out of the country. Since the Japan wouldn't leave Burma, he again fought the Japanese with the help of allies.

  • for more info you can search on Google :D too tired to translate :D

  • This video is about Aung San's History...

Start from 0:20 01:05, its a city that Aung San was born! They saying that the Government, Than Shwe, is not trying to repair, but ignored that City, Nat Mount, so that everyone can forget about Aung San. Around 1932, he went to Rangoon University and participated as a head to protest for the education in 1936. After that protest, he quit the University and joined the Protest Clan, at that time, he was only around 20-21 (01:53 was the pic of Protesters)

  • hoping for an english translation of this vid :-)

  • Any chance of an english translation please :-)

  • i wanna cry by watching it.... i wanna kill u saw again...... oh! what a great man Bo Gyoke is!

  • could somebody please translate the narration...

  • Comment removed

  • Thank for uploading this video. All Myanmar must watch this video.

  • Yes, all Burmese should know this historical fact too.

  • all around,he is indeed the greatest man in our history!

  • Hey you guys don't insult Gen. Aung San because of current government. Besides before 1988 Military wasn't that bad. If they (I don't say current military)didn't defend the nation today Myanmar will be parts of China (both PROC & ROC), Thai and India. But, however....i don't know what to say this current military(damn you, F***ers)

  • Did you say Bochut Aungsan was gay?? Hell no he wasn't he was the great man. He was the best man. I hope he will be back someday.

  • your leader is a gay...general gay....he fuck all..of his lt. gen even his prime minis....he fuck all....bullshit that military junta..

  • Aung San has nothing to do with the thugs of current military Junta. Aung San could have led a plivilged life but he chose to serve his people.

He was the found of modern Burmese army but after he was gone - assassinated before independence, it was turned into a bunch of prawn-head by the then General Ne Win, a traitor.

  • I saw that you aren't Burmese and misinformed about General Aung San. If you were Burmese, you would know that Aung San is the true hero for all Burmese (perhaps except for the current junta) and will be in our hearts until the time ends.

  • i bet there's a 50 cal barret sniper rifle waiting for the junta generals head!!!!!

  • Aung San is not the head of Junta.

  • hey,li49009 fuck u alright.

  • Aung San Of Burma , not Myanmar , this is comment please change your title

  • no matter how much they try to take him away from us, he is / will be always in our hearts.

BRAIN OF YOUNG STUDENT BEATEN OUT OF HEAD BY SOLDIERS; FOUND BY DRAIN NO.3 TARMWAY HIGH SCHOOL.

GOVERNMENT IS BURNING BODIES OF THOSE THEY MURDER, RIPPING THEM AWAY FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

  • The people of China are a wonderful people. Just like the people of any country are. The problem is when are power hungry minority seizes power through force and uses any means necessary including mass killing in the streets to retain that power. The government of China does this and supports nearly every other government which does it with direct financial and military aid.

  • It's a deadlock between human rights and more group oriented "asian values". To some asians, econ development and prosperity more vital than human rights. And The burmese people are trapped in that political deadlock. Having Taiwanese relatives, my feelings towards China are mixed. I think they can do good for the world, but if only they stopped playing hardball on my relatives...

  • These guys are forever demonizing China. Are you a so-called 'Tibetan' exile, part of the Dalai Lama clique? Or worst, a terrorist Uyghur or even worse, a Chinese who prefers to be called Taiwanese or worse of all, an anti-China Western stooges funded by the bungling CIA?

  • "Non interference" in other countries is the national policy of China. Look at world's policeman, USA. She is involved in everything and anything. Even giving out nuclear technology while opposing Iran. Non nuclear proliferation? What a joke!

"Do as I say, not as I do" --- US foreign policy.

  • When I visited Rangoon years ago, I saw a statue in a beautiful park next to Innyar (?) Lake or something like that. The statue was of someone dressed in Imperial Japanese Army uniform that we all feared during World War II. Comments, anyone?

  • What has China got to do with politics in Burma?

"Yone thaung pyay, kway myak light"

  • Thanks to my Burmese friend for translating this proverb, "Barking up the wrong tree"

  • Nobel peace prize winner 1984, Desmond Tutu:

If China doesn´t support the freedom for people in Burma we will fight for a boycott of the Olympic Games in China.

    Press conferance Gothenburg, Sweden (09/28)

I call upon all Peace Prize winners to support Aung San Suu Kyi and the people of Burma.

  • We are all BURMESE!

Long live the BRAVE people of Burma in their struggle versus their cruel military governors!!

  • @zonnebloem123 Yay someone stood up for me even if i'm not really in the country. But It's my race's struugle

  • who really believes the Burma goverment just lock up the Monks?

  • Hello :PRESIDENT OF USA MR BUSH PLEASE SEND YOUR ARMY TO MYANMAR TO HELP THEM!!!HELP!!!

BUSH:OH I SEE ! BUT ! IF THEY HAVE ANY OIL?IF DONT HAVE,I BETTER PUT MY ARMY IN IRAG!HE HE HE:-)

    :-( OH MY GOD! USA

  • Dear Johnnykkh1974, educate yourself before you speak. If you did you would know that the whole slaughter going in Burma (Myanmar) is because of oil and natural gas and Teak wood. China directly aids the military junta and keeps them in power in exchange for unlimited access to the teak wood forest, Myanmar's large 2 BILLION Barrel oil reserves, and 5.4 to 9.1 TRILLION cubic feet of confirmed natural gas reserves.

  • You sound as if China is ripping off Burma. Have you heard of trade? Surely, the shrewd Burmese generals aren't going to give them away!

  • I didnt know about this problem in Myanmar.. forgive me my ignorance, im sorry. Im a guy who hates that filthy stuff like socialism, dictatorships.. etc.

I feel pain about what happens there..

My prayers for all those brothers & sisters...

(can anyone help me how to find the complete video of Heaven & Hell? please)

  • Oh no ~ i need translation of this video T_T

    But anyway, Fuck Military Government.

Wish Myanmar free & Peace soon !!

  • All my Myanmar friends hate the military government.

  • I hope that what is going on in Myanmar opens people's eyes to the fact that China is the world's biggest supplier of weapons and financing to prop up the bloodiest and most brutal regimes in the world for their access to resources. The 2008 Olympics and every product bought from there are all tainted with the blood of innocents from throughout the world such as Darfur where they support the Sudan government in their commission of the largest genocide taking place in the world today.

  • USA is the world's biggest supplier of weapons, and killed some many people in the world. Did Chinese kill any one of you?

    Are you stupid or sth?

  • Right, the U.S. is the biggest supplier of weapons. To primarily peaceful democratic nations. Nations who allow their people the right to vote for their leaders. China is the biggest supplier of weapons to nations who use them to kill their own people for the purpose of keeping the people from being able to select their own leaders. The thousands of citizens slaughtered on the streets of Beijing in Tianamen Square sure didn't elect their government.

  • fishking1875 , US has supported many puppet regime. Saddam was supported during Iran-Iraq war. He would not have been removed if he has cooperated as a puppet. Noreiga's Panama before he stopped cooperating was another one. And there are many more. This is not to say China is a good guy. Just that US and everyone is just as bad.

  • Tianamen Square? A crowd of childish and idealist students falled in it and was betrayed by so-called democrats? They maybe can change the democracy course in China but was failed because of the selfish of the leader. Damn it!

  • Keep China out of your misplaced argument!

  • who the hell is this? Go to hell you communist prick.

  • The US sells more arms to more countries than you will ever know. The Pentagon has a $700 billion budget (think, how long it would take YOU TO count one billion, let alone 700). And then there are SUPPLEMENTAL budget enhancement. Think again!

"Weapons of mass destruction" ??? Hello! They offer nuclear technology to India, and now Vietnam, and they didn't even ask for it. Why now? TO ENCIRCLE CHINA WITH HOSTILE COUNTRIES!

  • i wish that u guys get freedom..

  • boycott Beijing Olympics over BURMA!!

  • who cares. Please don't come. You are not welcomed.

  • Let's not forget history 's facts : Bloody hands of China in Tibet (1951 -now ),The Killing Fields of Cambodia (Kampuchea) 1975-1979 (nearly 3 Millions people was massacred), North Vietnam (1954-1975) Vietnam (1975 until now 2007 ),Myanmar Junta , North Korea (1952 until now -how many North Koreans died of starvation ? .The genocide in Darfur now (Sudan). Anything beyond the Great Wall is expansion and occupation (Tibet, Innner Mongolia, Uiguir,Manchuria ...)

  • Do you work for Western intelligence agencies? Charged with subverting other countries?

How many Iraqis killed by US forces 'friendly fire'. How many wedding parties mistaken bombed as terrorist meetings? Blackwater of North Carolina? Hello!

  • Is this the 'pot' calling the 'kettle' black?

  • fuck china i agree

unfortunately since tian an men their government arrested all the dissidents started filling this world of pollution and opposed to any democracy in Asia (Burma, tibet, north corea)A shitty empire based on terror

We have to support the chinese opposition

But the chinese students have to do something at any cost

If they start doing something they'll have whole world support

By now we have to stop participating olympic games if we can't stop trading with them

  • The Dalai Lama insists on "son of India" label

    14:50, April 06, 2010

In recent years, I have criticized the Dalai Lama many times for his separatist nature, for carrying the mantle of the serf owners of old Tibet, for his collusion with overseas rebels and "East Turkistan" terrorists, and for the rumors he has spread. The Dalai Lama has never responded to these critiques. So, we can conclude that he is thick-skinned.

  • @LordMountbatten1

and you are thick butt hole surfer

  • EMILIO, DID YOU WASH YOUR MOUTH THIS MORNING?

  • Fuck the Chinese bastards.

  • Cowardly Burmese expats!

In Burmese there is a saying, 'ka lar ma naing, ye khaing mare' and in case you've forgotten your Burmese, it means, 'can't beat the Indian, therefore get at the Rohinga'!

  • me too,i want my country free.

  • i respect General Aung San

  • Good for you!

    ...

About that time, within a week of being captured and hanged, as the Allied Forces advanced toward Rangoon, on March 27, 1945 the Denfence Minister Aung San conveniently truned coat and saved his skin or head. Not the British, Indian, and certainly not Burmese.

  • Glad to see this post. Thanks.

  • i also really want our nation to be free!!!

  • i m so delight to hear see other's comments. let's fight them together. even united nations cannot stop those brainless military government group. there is only one power which can against them. PUBLIC!!! If really interested about that concern, go to friendster and then choose a group called "union of democracy power of myanmar" which was organized by myself. i need more people. be a member of that group!!

  • If you guys are really Buddhists, you guys should not hold any grudge to any human being and General Than Shwe is not an exception. You will reach your goal after overcoming the hatred ( Aweizzar ).

  • I always ask for Peaceful but I'll not ask this government with peace , but there one way to sussesful to attack this government , I really believe this , We will get freedom one day.Lets attack this government with Every way

  • My country people had been painful from this military Government from so many years and we all just want is Freedon of burma, not the Ecomic that can change to people ,

  • We know that we all Burmese people are rich , because of military goverenment everyone life are upside down and poor like nothing to Eat and hopeless for future , this all problem military government ignored.

  • I LOVE HIM!

  • So is there any posts about Bogyoke Aung San or Burmese movement prior to WWII? I know those are rare. I have difficulty to find those posts. I am interested to see all these nostalgia scenes.

  • Go to GlobalPolitician Web site and search for Aung San, Myanmar, Burma, etc.

  • Do a Google search for "China's Expeditionary Forces and C.A.I" to learn more about World War II and Japanese Army in Burma.

  • Yeah we are screwed...

  • Take down the current dictatorship/martial law and bring Burma (not Myanmar!) to democracy and end all the house arrests and "disappearances"

  • why do people (europeans especially) keep calling Myanmar "Burma". It hasnt been burma for years, and before the british conquered and named it after one of the dominant ethic groups it had always been myanmar.

  • Burma sounds better.

  • You are right... If you are against to this government , dont ever call Myanmer . I always call Burma , I know that Burma is my country and Aung san was our country leader .

  • I agree. One day your country will be free.

  • fuck Than Shwee, fuck his black asshole

  • Thai Lottery or not I don't care. WE don't want to earn dirty money by gambling even if it creates jobs. There are many 'clean jobs' to do as preached by our Lord Buddha.

  • Let me give you an example, everybody know how big thai lottery business in Burma. Although police departments are created to defeat unlawful lottery business, police departments have to rely on lottery business instead and they themselves become employees of lottery business owners. If you understand this example, you all will agree investing in burma and trying to become successful businesses in burma is the only way to and control change burmese government in future

  • Giving a dirty example like that???? First of all, are you Burmese? WE want Democracy or Freedom. We don't need the country to become rich. We don't want the government to own the country. It is stated in the National Anthem that our country is the legacy from our ancestors. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY. WE ALL OWN IT!!!!

  • However, I believe by investing and creating jobs and strong business oriented communityin, the long run, the wealth of burmese tycons can change the attitude of government even they are partnering with generals for getting business concessions. Let me give you an example, everybody know how big thai lottery business in Burma.

  • it's a sad thing that the country is on the wrong path. But as far as my knowledge, the only way to change this country to get back on right direction is aggressive investment in burma from rich burmese people living abroad since I don't see change in this world without economic incentive. People may think putting investment in Burma now will benefit military government. Although it is partially correct,we have no other choice.

  • General Aung San is a noble man. Some British hardliners' decision to plot to assasinate Aung San has killed BOTH this hero and the future of this nation. The country is futureless now.

  • THE BIG SAD THING about Burma is that BOTH excile political activists like NLD Sein Win and the military greenmen Than Shwe's comrades wants to keep Burma as it is now. Both sides dont want to change. There are only suffering people who wants change. Both sides are not smart enough to tackle this problem. :(

  • I laughed my ass of when the narrator said the junta changed our currency into some stupid tiger like weird figure. lolz.

  • Good, indeed! But still very much generalized. Anyway, Thakhin Aung San is my childhood hero.

  • I was born 30 years after his death.

But I miss him so much....
