First of all the concept of imam mehdi is not Quranic, its not given in quran no where, secondly imam mehdi will be a sunni muslim, not a shia, as shias r mushrik and bidatee, n usool e kafi and other shia books r based on Zaeef narrations. if u discuss a shia alim he will admit this fact that mostly shias ahadiths r zaeef. but he should be a good person and not doing a taqiyya..i have discussed this subject with a shia alim an.d he admitted it clearly
