and i bought it using up rewards...they run that sale from time to time

Just slip the covers off the baskets and launder them on gentle cycle. I toss mine in the dryer for about 5-10 minutes, but no longer. They dry super fast, so keep an eye on them!

@123jjsweet , LOL! My fabric store locally didn't have much micro-fiber to choose from. It is rather ironic I have doggies with bones on my cat bed. The kitties don't find it amusing AT ALL!! :)

Besides what I wrote earlier, I also made my kitties 3 scratching poles with sissal rope (they like this kind) and tubing. They love them!! and having them in each room they like to spend time in, they haven't scratched up any of my furniture at all!! Try that too!

Yes, I think small kitties would like it, but probably a smaller basket would be better for them at first. Kitties (and cats) like things they can get really snuggled up in, so something that is way too big may not be the very best thing.You can make beds like this on any size flattish round basket. Little kitties will probably want to sleep together, to making it just big enough for both of them would be great.

I bet your kitty would love silk! It is so soft, and it breathes, too, so your kitty won't get overheated on it. If you try it, will you let me know how it comes out? I would love to see your kitty bed and find out if she loves the silk as much! :D
