Vernon Robinson, does himself no favors though by showing the Cleaver family as an example of "traditional American values." There's nothing wrong with it, but that ad isn't going to help him get too many votes. I mean, he'll get a lot of bible-thumpers to vote for him. Christians (ironically) hate gay people, abortion and minorities. I tend to lean toward the Republicans, but I don't think I'll be voting for them this time.

I would vote for him. It's a very effective ad that serves to reaffirm his conservative base.
The only issue I have with it is the smashing of homosexuality - but that's the wonder of politics: everyone has their own opinion.
The add also does a poor job of conveying the differencee between a healthy concern for our national security because of illegal immigrants and xenophobia.
