I think Mewtwo is the animal form of the diclonius, because, the diclonius and Mewtwo are fighting with telekinesis. And i think that Mewtwo and Lucy could be, related, i mean related of their species

Someone needs to write a pokemon fanfiction.

Plot:

Ash arrives late but Oak decides against telling about pikachu,thinking it would be easier to be trained by an expert. Ash runs off to catch his own pokemon,and finds Mewtwo who just recently escaped Team Rocket. He talks to mewtwo a while,takes it to Pallet and helps it heal,ect.Ultimate Starter.

Basically instead of what happened at the end of season 1,mewtwo escapes much earlier.

Also,see the fanfiction SecondChances,ash gets mew. Similar.
