@rioter43 They are sort of EVE's "endgame", as far as ships go. They're the biggest, meanest, most expensive ships in the game, and the most skill-intensive ones too.

Yes, they are, with exception of freighters and jump freighters, which can use stargates.

Yes you can, but you need to play for about 4-5 years^^ You perhaps got the skills after 3 years aswell, but you need to be an oooold player that your corp/ally builds one for you :P You need much experience...

Most of us will never fly one, but I have been graced with the honor of getting one hotdropped on a fleet I was in. It was very, very large. Like dude, I was in an 80meter long interceptor. It was like 11 kilometers long, to scale. Very, very large.

The longest of the Titans is over 17klm long when compared to most BS's that are what 900m long :)

They are great to see ingame however more often than not when there is a titan or 5 around there are a whole shit load of support etc as well so lag usually follows.

The one in this video looked like it was doing a logistics run or getting ready to start one. Anyway if you don't live in 0.0 and want to see a titan jump on the test server there is usually one around some place

oh screw the possible 10-20 dreads, 10-20 carriers and god friggin knows how many BS's, AS's, HI's CR's and other ungodly classes..... watch the lag, its more deadly than you could know (that was a lol). but in all seriousness, having a titan isn't as cracked up as it looks, whole corps are just specifically there to hunt titans, dreads and carriers

Erebus is beautiful. I don't like having cap ships level 5 because even with the agility bonus she is still horribly slow. I understand since it is pretty much a mobile station. The doomsday is amazing but easy to tank. I have noticed she is also easy to lock down. She holds a tank well and when she sends her cry for help well let's just say it brings massive hordes of help. Absolutely magnificent when she turns and she angles to the left or right to propel sideways. Excellent ship.

eve is pretty much all of the above. Devs describe the gameplay as a sandbox (i.e. make your own adventure). I would consider it a pool of quicksand, once your in you have no hope of getting out..=) eve-addict for life!!

Its a perspective side effect.. Mark my words it is insanely huge indeed. Search google images for "eve_chart-rmr.jpg" you'll see what I mean. The ship we are with at the start of the video is a one of the very little peanuts you can see in the chart.
