I had some problems with the holes lining up but I think that is make sure it's super tight and wont fall apart after awhile. I figured out that when I really really forced the stuff together it helped.

a FEW hours!!! I was able to get it done (alone) in 1:20 while watching the masters. I didn't have any issues with hole lining up though, maybe it's been fixed. Cheers!

It took me a few hours, but I was by myself and I had a few issues with holes not lining up.

yah i bought the black version of this bookshelf. my bf and i had the same problem and had to redrill some holes ourselves because they were so off
