I have similar risers, aeromech? on 1800 r. I'm able to sit upright and have good control.these make the vtx look better.

The Risers from the "C Model" VTX did bring the bars back enough to stop all the back and shoulder pain I was feeling. I bought a second set for my wife's 1300 R model too. It is a good modification to make to your R model if your having issues with reach or shoulder pain.
