@99mmpick - honestly in my opinion it is worth it. The Axe FX is the best value piece of gear i've ever bought - it does everything, and get's better with every firmware upgrade
BLAH GEEKS! in a couple of years there will be so many people trying to get rid of their suhr guitars ;) finding out that they look so boring and sound like a fender + humbucker
@MyLifeChanger Remember that Suhr guitars are built to custom spec and to meticulous perfection. John Suhr doesn't just mass produce fender copies. Sure, you could order a Suhr guitar similar to a fender strat specification, but if strat players didn't think they were better built than a fender custom, they wouldn't invest to have John Suhr build one for them.
You custom order a guitar from John Suhr because it's exactly the dream guitar you want in every aspect of it's construction.
@prabowoputra - it's a Samson power conditioner, it regulates the power coming into the Axe FX and Power amp - handy if you play in venues with dodgy electrics :D
@brandon5pennies - it's a 4 space rack, the Axe FX is 2, ART SLA-1 is 1 and the power conditioner is 1 - it has a bit of weight to it but isn't anything like as heavy as a valve head
Sorry to hear about your nickel allergy! These so called "finger protectors" .. In belgian drug stores these are called "finger condoms" ;') And they really are meant to shove things up your ass ;-)
You have great vids btw..

What do you think about axe fx, is it worth extra 1500 gbp , compare to 500 gbp ENGL screamer?

pfarina 1 year ago
@pfarina - yes it turns out they give me the same trouble, it's a repetitive contact thing apparently.

@Moltisanti weird...
pfarina 1 year ago
@pfarina - yep, if i lost my arm i'd find a way to fix a slide to the end so i could still play \m/ :D

Hi man, dou you need a Head Amp to run your FX or can you run straight the cabinet?
VelhosNovos 1 year ago
@VelhosNovos - you need a power amp to power a cabinet, the Axe FX is a pre-map/effects unit only.

@Moltisanti thanks!

@ohmygooooood
Since hes got an ART SLA 1 or 2 poweramp (its a linear solid state poweramp) his p/a sim is supposed to be on.

Why don't you use elixir strings, I think those aren't nickel-based. Anyways, pretty nice tone going on.
