The castle is a place commonly know as the Witch's Tower in the area of southern Dayton, Ohio. It and its surrounding forest make for a great filming spot. :D

I certainly considered that, but this character is not Link. He is a different hero.

If I did most of the things requested in these comments, I would have absolutely nothing to distinguish my series from just a normal Zelda fan movie. I appreciate the feedback, and I love hearing it, but having a talking main character and not using costumes was a deliberate decision, not a mistake. :D

Joe is a close friend of mine, and we are indeed both very nerdy.

His acting is indeed a bit lacking, but I would not say he is completely without talent. Believe me, his lack of great ability became apparent to him after we had to shoot some scenes over 20 times... ;D
