I think this is accurate. The Bible says that God gave Satan the earth so that he could make hell. People who almost die say they sink into the ground if they are going to hell. It wasn't actually an outer opening leading straight into hell, but the outer shell which contains it. It could possibly be that hell is located in the center fo the earth in the shape of the human body.
