@Helldorado72 scorpions is a very overrated group....that's all. search the internet and you will find plenty of other greatest hard rock band, that left underrated.....For example, Stonehouse, Three Man Army, Captain Beyond, Lucifer's Friend etc... goodnight and sweet dreams for now.. i hope one day you will understand.
@norsunny This kind of statement is unacceptable to UK heavy metal fans who grew up listening to the Friday Rock Show and the New Wave of British Heavy Metal in the early 80's. The Scorpions and Accept are two German bands who enjoy the utmost respect among genuine rock fans. I remember Tommy Vance showcasing Blackout when it was released. If Blue Oyster Cult are Heavy Metal then so are the Scorpions. While musical taste is subjective, history is not and a little respect goes a long way.
@norsunny Sorry but I haven't heard of any of those bands you mentioned. I looked them up and they are spin-offs of better known bands - castoffs of a better life. The Scorps are very well known and successful, unlike these bands. And BOC is still rocking after all these years and these other bands aren't. That's why those bands you mentioned have not even approached greatness, where as the Scorps and BOC have earned their greatness not only through their great music but their longevity.

I can listen to BOC all day long but if i start to hear some Led Zepplin on the radio, I just turn it off because I have heard houses of the holy 10000000000000 times already! only thing that would have... "helped" boc would be is if MTV sponsered them but Ha.....

At :14 the song's riff/rhythm are painfully close to The Kink's 'You Really Got Me'. The bridge at 1:50 sounds like it's ripped off from an hybrid of 'Hungry Boys' and 'Tattoo Vampire'.
Great guitar playing but the cheesy lyrics and Bloom's wheezy singing make this a solid C+ in the overall BOC canon.
