All history is open to interpretation. Why should we believe Zecharian? Why should we believe his interpretations? Besides the alien enthusiasts, who else gives the same interpretations of the Sumerian tablets? Z says that the Sumerians describes the story in Genesis, etc. Why should we believe that? It is likely that he read the Bible before he was introduced 2 the Sumerian tablets and his interpretation is influenced by his experience. The tablet could describe something completely different.

I used to believe in ancient alien theories years ago because I wanted to believe that something crazy like that was going on, but I found that Reality was way more awesome than fiction. I don't find Sumerians being of Terrestrial origin any less amazing than if they came from spacemen but is WAY more Realistic.

All history is open to interpretation. Why should we believe Zecharian? Why should we believe his interpretations? Besides the alien enthusiasts, who else gives the same interpretations of the Sumerian tablets? Z says that the Sumerians describes the story in Genesis, etc. Why should we believe that? It is likely that he read the Bible before he was introduced 2 the Sumerian tablets and his interpretation is influenced by his experience. The tablet could describe something completely different.

Dietrich's matched somewhere around 8000 words, with 4000 in the book. The others were too obviously selfevident according to her. Anyway, she used the ancient priests' tricks of replacing like consonants, their sequencing often being altered as in Pig Latin, and putting vowels back
in (vowels were omitted in Sumerian).

@JarethGT The Sumerians are totally fascinating! It's the first human civilization that wrote stuff down- so they can tell you a lot about what human civilizations are like. The three authors I'd check out to start are Samuel Noah Kramer, Thorkild Jacobsen, and Jeremy Black. And I'm totally open to the idea that extraterrestrials exist somewhere. I just doubt they've ever visited us, or the Sumerians. But, I wasn't there, so who knows? Have fun reading!

@himkdm i think it's because their civilization is highly related with unbelievable mysterious astronomical heritages. archaeologists have found some of their sculptures that shows astronaunts, space rockets, lazer weapons and things that far beyond their civilization. nowadays to human, alien itself is still a myth, and sumers developed the first civilization ever in human history even earlier than the one in egypt. so the curiousity pushed us to do research about their connection with aliens.
