@OMGLukaXD Yes the tutorial is still perfectly viable! All she got is a moderate damage nerf. Also, post backturn knockdown in the corner you can't crossup any longer, so there's little incentive to go for 6c loop.
@OMGLukaXD I had a long day of testing all three moons today and still have no particular reply. F definitely has the best raw power, but my playstyle favors reverse beat as a pressure tool. I plan to play C and H mainly - C for zoning intensive matches, and H for the ones where you need a good way out of pressure - the bunker.
I haven't done much C, I thought she was bad. I love the way F plays but the loss of Reverse Beats really hits me hard. Since this tutorial is up, I might try to stick too H.
:Last question, will you do CC tutorials for the other moons?
Using some of the tactics I saw in here I was able to beat alot of people at fight nights, though the person I was never ever able to beat before I was winning about every other round with. His Normals seem to give V Akiha trouble since they always beat her A's on the ground or in the air it seems like. Not to mention his above average health and reversal command grabs that do half of her health. But flying around everywhere and putting a ton of pressure on him I managed to win a good amount :D
Amazing tutorial, the best I've seen on the entire nets for any character, for any fighter for that matter in a video. Only one thing, you left out that I'd like to know, and that would be Air to Air's and anti-airs.
@TheBloodyNights Thank you for the kind words. Actually I was considering making such a section with anti airs and air to airs, but ultimately decided not to do it.
V doesn't really have all-star anti-airs. Your best bet would be to try 4C or keep to blocking and the occasional shield (if they've exhausted all air options).
@TheBloodyNights Well for air-to-airs you have jA, jB and pits. (jC is air to ground, and orbs suck). Use jA on your way up to fish for counters, you will have all air options if they didn't punish you in the recovery. Use the vertical momentum of airdashes to position jB's hitbox ito your opponent. You want to be flying underneath them and hitting with the tip of her feet (confirm into fullscreen loop on counter). Airbackdash jB just before landing is OK for keepaway.
@TheBloodyNights Lastly, use B pits randomly (very important, because if they read you, you're in for some damage) to punish projectiles/summons/whatever. Tigerkneeing B pit also works OK.
Really nice editing (minus the section where you use slow-mo for every opening clip lol). Very original ways to emphasize key points in the clips. Gave me a lot of ideas! =D
Btw what software did you use for this? The after-image fx used to display distance in the 'blockstrings' section were sweet.
BGM used in this video:
1. Fairy Tale Transparently
2. Fearless
3. Strange Dreamer

Is this tutorial still good for MBAACC? Since nothing too much changed to H at all.

Thanks, great tutorial, best tutorial out there.
Yeah I heard something about the backturned cross-ups disappearing.
Btw, what moon do you think is best for her in MBCC?

Wow, exceptional tutorial.
I go to meltybread, and say "Man...there's like no posts in this subforum...is there really a community for this game?
And then BAM, high-quality video tutorial for my favorite character.
Starts off with my favorite song, too. o_O

@darkdrizzle Slomo was used so that the viewer has enough time to read the written information.
The editing was done with Adobe Premiere CS3. The distance trick was done with a matte and half transparency. :P
