Tales of vs. is for PSP, there's another Tales game releasing for the Wii also, called Tales of Graces, and a 3rd tales game which is Tales of Vesperia being released for the PS3 (since it's 360 release was good)

Have you tried Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 1& 2? Its one of my fav rpg games on psp, and the thing that you want to move freely in battle, im sure you will like Tales of the World! I suggest you play Dungeon Siege also, its not new but you should try playing it if you haven't. ^_^
