I find it interesting that Erik is completely different in video interviews than in print interviews. In the later he comes off as more reserved, almost hostile at some points, ambiguous, and is much more "Satan, darkness, blood, violence, rah" but in videos he's open, friendly, and gives clearer answers. In both he comes off as an intelligent, honest, dedicated person, which I admire.

I have read a number of interviews with Erik (and seen a few on youTube, too) and he is a highly intelligent and well-argued individual....I personally don't agree with everything he says and believes in (although a large part of it I do) be he is as entitled to his views as everyone else. He is also a fucking SUPERB frontman, a real beserker in the ancient sense of the word and his comments about buggering Jesus are absolutely hysterical! Keep up the bad work Erik!!!

I dug that interview, mostly because I was at that show in SLC, Ut., (Oct. 2008, Urban Lounge), but her question at the end was pointless and completely stupid and you could tell it took Erik completely out of that interview.
