5'9 (this is wha Jon always says) makes some 176. He keeps complaining that he is too short. But I think he exaggrates. 5'9 is quite average. Personally I fee uncomfortable when I am accompanied by a very tall man. And I do not like very tall men. I prefer them to be more "compact". My husband is 178 cm and I find it absolutely perfect!

What David says is a joke. In this scene Jon looks very tall because the shot is made from such an angle that all who are there seem to have their bodies unnaturally lengthened. Actually Jon has 5'9 "if he is lucky" - he says so in Charlie Rose interview. So, translating it to meters would be around 175 cm.

That would do 2,05 m which is obviously wrong...........SO I guess Dave meant 5'9 (I read somewhere that Jon was that size) and was joking or made a mistake........5'9 makes 1,80 m which is more reliable I think, Richie is a bit taller, I'd say he's 1,82 or 1,83 m.........hugs from France.
