Tyler, I used to use phlegm for gurgles like you do, but I found a better way. I can't really explain it, I was just mimicking this one crazy chick and was able to do it without phlegm. It makes it sounds lower and more fucky, you know?

@shiggityshwaaa I've seen and talked to her before about how well she does vocals. Its pretty cool. Personally I have to do the phlegm gurgle because I have tonsillitis and lack the insurance to get my tonsils removed...so I've learned how to get around it. Honestly my way is the way to get more power out of it but some days will be better than others. Her/your way is better for endurance because it causes less throat strain. But both are sick for sure

@mutilatedbaby Its not hard once you figure out how to do it correctly. However I think some people will never figure out where it comes from. All I can say is practice practice practice and try really hard to let the air come from the diaphram and push thru the back of your throat where phlegm usually sits to get the gurgle.
