  • the trumpet was spot on!

  • Very hard song to pull off on trumpet and he did an excellent job.

  • Where's Jack P ???

  • Great cover guys!!!

    BEATLES FOR LIFE!

  • They sound very similar to the beatles.

  • Stand up and cheer, everybody!!!

  • Rain is so much better

  • Their Great!

  • Boy, you're tough (although I agree there are "pitchy" issues with, what I believe to be, a wonderful trumpet track)! Know a cover version of this that's any better? Please say yes, I'd love to hear it. Dreadful---horrible? I must come from another planet.

  • I'm a musician, I have always loved this song, but I wrote it off to a triumph of talent, but mostly engineering (those British Engineers were so good). Then, I heard this---I NEVER thought I would hear something like this done live. Yes, the electronics have changed, but this is magic music. I'm in awe.

  • @bigmarty56 Why not? It isn't as if any Jazz stage band, funk group, symphony orchestra etc... don't do music 10x more complex, challenging, intricate, layered or anything else. I mean it is a good song but it isn't some sort of miracle of technology.

  • Agreed. My point was/is that if you are a Beatles cover band, and if your aim is to faithfully replicate the original sound---complex or not----this is a very fine attempt.

  • @bigmarty56 All fair points. I thought you might be a Beatle nut who actually thought this sort of thing was amazing musically. Really enjoyable sure....but for me the hype is a tad over done. Great band but this "Most talent band eeeevvveeer" is just a bit trite.

  • Then, we are of like mind. Cool! You sound like a music person. I'm a "popular" music guy---not an Opera or Symphonic expert. In that genre, my belief has always been that the material (songs) is about 70% of it, and that the musicianship is the rest. There are exceptions that prove the rule. But, what do you think? I'd be interested to know.

  • One more thing I forgot to add----Whe I mention technology in this post, I'm not talking about today, I'm talking about 45 years ago (plus or minus). Listen to the original Penny Lane---recorded on four track tape---and it is impeccably fine sounding. Better than some of the DDD reordings one buys today.

  • I am a John man, but this is my fav Paul song.

  • I think that is Will Lee (David Letterman Show) on bass

  • It is Will 100%.

I've seen the Faux many times. They are the real deal. They enjoy playing the show as much as we enjoy attending.

    They shatter the cover-band mold.

  • i had the pleasure of seeing this band perform live on three different occasions.

they do a sensational job recreating the Beatles sound.

  • Fantastic!

  • My daughter calls me and my wife Fab Faux groupies,we've seen them about 30 times in NYC & Jersey & PA. You won't see any better people. Hi Rich.

  • Tight!

  • Awesome...

    AWESOME!

  • Awesome!

  • No, it wasn't Lew in New Brunswick. It was John Chudoba. He has been doing it for the past several years.

  • Did Lew Soloff also play piccolo at the State Theater in New Brunswick NJ last year? Or was it someone else? Whoever it was, that brought the house down!

  • The tpt player is Lew Soloff from the old BS&T

  • Saw them at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ tonight and as always am blown away. THey are outstanding.

  • I'm going to see them on June 27th! Can't wait!! They are amazing!

  • that trumpet solo is amazing! they are wonderful.

  • Terrific, Richard! I am catching up with making my comments and viewing and the group is great!

  • seeing these guys live was a highlight of my life!!

  • That's not just any piccolo trumpet player, that's Lew Solof of Blood Sweat and Tears fame as well as being a guru!

    Fab Faux ...you are awesome!

  • good. gotta work on that scouser accent when singing tho to get the full Beatles effect

  • I think the point of these guys is that they're more about the spirit and intention of the Beatles' music than details such as accent and dress, which in my eyes elevates them above many, many tribute bands.

  • That Piccolo was outstanding!!!

  • Different trumpet player than the concerts I've attended (still really good) & Jack has a replacement on keyboards (stage left).

  • You guys sound great! Hope to get to see you live one day.

  • Wow, wow, wow, what can I say? Just perfect and a double thanks to the piccolo trumpet man!

  • VH! Classic - was this video on VH!? I was there - it was the Mike Smith Benefit. This DVD needs to be released?

  • The Fab Faux rocks! Love this bass line too.

  • this is awesome. as a huge beatles fan, i am VERY critical of imitation groups but you guys are awesome
