Mac users would do well to note that if you update your OSX, the USB-connection of MicroSampler (or any other Korg product with USB for that matter) wont work anymore. And it doesnt look like they're gonna do jack about it. Seems once we've dropped our cash we dont matter anymore...
@MarctheDarc It looks like they actually updated the USB driver back in February. Also, I own a Korg Radias and that hooks up with my DAWs and the software library just fine. I guess Korg cares a little bit.
@acemonvw They did release a "new" driver in february, and it didnt fix the problem. It's the same driver as found on the japanese site since mid december, where it clearly states that it doesnt support OSX versions newer than 10.6.4. So back to grosse breach of the sales agreement, and my deepest annoyance that there's no real competitors in the class. But i still have over a year to throw it back in their face the sec something comes up.
@MarctheDarc Wow, that sucks. It's a bit surprising considering I had an R3 and a Radias that both hooked up just fine to the newest version of OSX. What's even weirder is that they would've recently updated the driver in February, when 10.6.6 was released in January. I'd test it on my computer, but I don't have a microsampler... yet.

After Korg on several different occasions saying outright that their drivers didnt support newer than 10.6.4 (and since denying everything, nice 1) i sorta just supposed that the driver was the issue. Perhaps it's the editor/librarian. Regardless of cause, it used to work spot on, and now it doesnt. It is Korgs responsibility, and they dont live up to it!
In its own right it's by far the best sampler in its class, but i'm most inclined to taking it back to the store. Pity.
dont look for another review.. if you dont like the microsampler after watching this vid then it's not for you. awesome demo ;)
