this is actually an extremely decent game i can't believe it. its much greater than cod4. i have basically reached the second prestige ! i am as a result proud. acquired the game just yesterday evening out of mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) however , im witout a doubt wooping most people!

ACR is POSITIVELY the most effective gun in the video game. Each and every time I run a S&D on it, I get the Nuke, and light up absolutely everyone. I'm actually playing on the working steam edition i downloaded from codmw2freedlYcom (replace Y with . ) . It is very seriously a awesome game, in case you have not tried it yet, you MUST go download it In addition to this!

great it gets played a lot at the weekends with my dad he is incredibly good at it. I got the game absolutely free for my sony ps3 from here: 115 games. com they have hundreds I couldnt beleive that they are all free I must say 2:15 2 3:45 was rad

I truely enjoyed no. 4 but if treyarch made cod 5 in modern times and then iw ofcourse followed it through with modern warfare 2, i think rants will just start up saying that modern settings is boring and then they might make cod 7 that dreaded sci fi game we though 6 might become

im thinking about getting this game for ps3. i own call of duty 4 modern warfare and i really liked it my favourite lvl as the one calle all ghilled up. Im youst wondering if this game is the same good as the 4th one i mean is it almost the same youst that it is in ww2 and i heard that the story in waw is more hardcore than the 4th one. so is this a good game to buy?

I don't think the game is necessarily as good as Modern Warfare, but given you loved that, I think you'd enjoy WaW. The game's engine is more or less a copy and paste of the 4 engine, so the game controls well and mostly plays well. Is it more intense though? You could say that, but only because that particular war time period was extremely brutal, and the game spares nothing to show that. :)

i have call of duty world at war for ps2 and its differant and im thinking of getting it for ps3 but if its the same i dont really want to buy it can you tell me if the one your playing is a ps3 version

They're not the same. The video here can be considered the PS3 or Xbox 360 versions, as they're essentially the same. There may be small graphical differences, but what you see here is what you'd see on PS3.

the cod 5 is just a footstep for infinity ward when they make cod 6. treyarch made new features but infinity ward will just make it better.

Oh for sure, it's painfully obvious that Activision is using the studios like this. Treyarch used the CoD4 engine to make sure World at War played great, while adding their own unique content and flair to it...and now it's IW's turn to do less work and focus on what they do best :)

Haha, I suppose that's one way of looking at it. But just because World at War used a lot of the development assets from Modern Warfare doesn't mean it's an 'expansion' per se ;) I understand where you're coming from though.

That's both and easy and extremely difficult question haha. On one hand, I would spare no thought to recommending both, as they're both awesome games. Obviously the two key aspects that differentiate them are the war-time settings (modern/WWII), and the weapon choice (modern/WWII). Catching my drift? Since I don't know your tastes, I don't want to point out one over the other...know what I mean?

i have played both, i prefer World at War over CoD 4, but i sometimes wish I could use the new guns on the WWII game, lol.... another plus to WaW is the Nazi Zombie game at the end... it's like a whole other game in itself,lol.

I find Modern Warfare to be the better game (obviously), but each have incredibly fun moments, no doubt about that. Nazi Zombies is a great distraction too, but not for more than two or three successive sessions really.

We don't know anything about Call of Duty 6 other than the fact that the franchise is back in Infinity Ward's hands. But of course as soon as any details surface, we'll be all over them :)

ive narrowed it down to Far Cry 2, Call of Duty:World at war, Kane and Lynch:Dead men and Saints row 2

which one do you think i should go for?

Well for one, I would avoid Kane & Lynch really, the game to me is worthwhile to rent and nothing else.

World at War, well, if you enjoyed Modern Warfare, you'd likely enjoy this.

Saints Row 2 - If you like sandbox games, you could like this. (We have a video review for this one courtesy of Jarrod.)

Far Cry 2 - It's a free roaming/FPS hybrid that has a lot to offer. It has nothing to do with the other games in the series, so that may be right up your alley.

Boy, that's a really tough call man. World at War is really as long as you make it to be. The campaign is about 8 hours or so depending on the difficult you play on...and then there's the online co-op and competitive. I still play Modern Warfare to this day, which speaks for that game's value.

Dead Space is also a quality game, just not as value-driven because there's no multiplayer or anything.

It's really up to you, sorry I couldn't help more.

Heh, well imagine that, my years of taking spanish classes in high school have helped pay off, because I understood every word of that ;) Unfortunately I can't exactly respond in kind XD

It's a little tough to judge graphics betweten Modern Warfare and World at War because of the distinctly different environments. Plus the compression YouTube did to the video makes the footage a tad blurry, so you may want to see the game for yourself before you judge too much ;)

Excellent review that helped sell me on the game. I wonder though how high the score would have been raised had the A.I. in campaign been stellar instead of subpar?
