  • That song reminds me to the inglorious basterds soundtrack

  • Net het eerste deel van "Sei passi del giallo" gezien, dit voldoet meer, "Chambre jaune" en de film Amer morgen nog maar eens herbekijken.

  • Just watched this film. I'm a massive fan of the Giallo genre especially Dario Argento and Michele Soavi so had high hopes for this. Turns out this is one of the most boring and nonsensical films I've seen in a long time. The film is told in three parts. The first part is rather good and shows promise as it has a slight horror tilt, the rest are pure crap. Almost the whole film is shown in pointless close-ups, especially of eyes. This technique proves irritating and headache inducing. Avoid!

  • I love this music, its psycho :)

  • my name is amer

  • shitty ass movie, dont watch this, and i mean you call this good music lame but i mean come on, who is that fuckin lame as to watch a movie for its soundtracks, shitty shitty movie, My recommendation to others: dont watch it, its shit.

  • The guy that said this music is shitty has to be the lamest mofo on the planet and probably sits around listening to 90's rock like Pearl Stonejam of the Alice Garden Creed Dogs of the New or 2000's cRAP music like peanut M & M or something. @newusemoah is LAME and his taste is obviously shitty.

  • Who's the guy with the toothpick in his mouth? He's not in the first trailer.

  • !!!

  • Wow. Love the trailer and love the music. Also love to see people telling each other off over the internet from both sides of the argument. Love it all. Cracks me up. Online bravery. Got to love it. Great free entertainment. :)

  • wow looks like a Dario Argento film! even the music is like the goblin soundtracks for them! :D def gonna check this out!

  • I just love the trailer and the music, but I didn't understand the film.

  • @RenksizHayaller I can send a mail and explain (how I saw it) if you like.

  • @pekinobo ok it would be great!

  • This movie is the weirdest movie I've ever seen!

  • my name is Amer :D

  • @HeatonMulti

  • My friends name is Amer

  • I would love to see Tarantino do a giallo throwback type movie:)

  • @KevsHardLemonade me too! : )

  • I living in AMER, Is a little village at GIRONA>>CATALONIA>>SPAIN xDD

  • damn i love the music

  • music anyone ?

  • damn, even the trailer looks boring as fuck

  • Looks like the remake of Tenebre(1982)-a giallo movie for the director Dario Argento- but honestly I don't think Amer would be as good as tenebre, not even close!

  • I watched the movie and honestly I have no idea what the movie was about, I mean I don't even know how I sat through the hole damn thing. I't was like a bad dream you want to run but you can't. Afther 1 hour I still had no idea what the hell I was watching.

I love the fact that is was different but did I't have to be a puzzle too??? So I gave up

And by the end of the movie I was bitter ohhhhhhh boy was I AMER :)

  • @coolrider47 i see what you did there :P

  • i love this movie...it has a lot of "giallo" in it (Argento, Martino, Dallamano, fist Fulci, etc) and of course the clear influence in some parts of "Un Chien Andalou" (e.g. ant, razorblade)....great film!!

  • awesome movie...i love "amer"

  • Looks awsome, but maby a bit too much tries-to-be-giallo instead of 'a' giallo.

  • Read a review in NYT, so decided 2 check it out. Really looks retarded.

  • @iluvmuzamil how does it look retarded???

  • @walkmanjoe i think the user means that it looks overdramatic... maybe it's just the trailer with the shitty music and all the scenes just attached to each other which confuses and doesn't say much about the movie.. After reading a summary of the movie and watching this trailer I'm not really smarter about what is going on...

  • @newusernoah Shitty music? You gotta be fucking kidding me.

  • @newusernoah Shitty music? You gotta be fucking kidding me.

  • @kewenter nope.. not kidding at all.. or should I?! why should I? anway: it's not my taste.. or should everyone agree with you and your taste? I could not do that as I've a backbone;) But HEY! If you like it, enjoy!

  • @newusernoah that's fine if the music isn't to your tastes but calling the music shitty simply because it isn't to your taste only reveals what a petty and hateful person you are. To denigrate something simply because it's not to your taste (your only reason given) disqualifies your comments from rational discourse. Then you go on to praise yourself by claiming you have a backbone because you won't agree that everyone should agree with the other guy's tastes (which he never claimed).

  • Amer is labeled as an homage to the old giallo films. after watching the movie at the Laemmle Sunset 5, i was underwhelmed. i expected so much more. the only times this film can even can be compared to a giallo is when the ennio morricone are stelvio cipriani musical cues come up. but other than that, the rest of the film is an exercise in technique and style. despite the movies problems, i respect it for being audacious and different from anything else that has come out in the last 20 years.

  • THIS LOOKS FUCKING RAD!!!!

  • In the UK *

  • @BromptonCocktail12 31st January 2011 from Anchor Bay UK.. check my videos for more info...

  • When is this out on DVD?

  • The music is "La Polizia Sta a Guardare (Titles)" by Stelvio Cipriani and was on a CD bonus disc on the "Death Walks In High Heels/ Death Strikes At Midnight" two-fer called "The Sound Of Love And Death".

  • @DJKimiazHotLixx It was also reused in Massimo Dallamano's "La polizia chiede aiuto" and other movies featuring Cipriani's music.

  • Has a very strong Argento feel to it. I like.

  • Looks interesting.

  • I was in the München Film Fest and saw 24 movies, now I can say this was the best movie I've seen from this festival! Congratulations!!!

  • Music by Micalizzi...i don't remember the right name but this track is from italian movie about 70s.

  • @mushyrhum The music is by Stelvio Cipriani.

  • test

  • What music is this again...?

  • WTF? old Dario Argento 70s stile?

  • @sucazza Well there is a shot that is taken from The Bird With The Crystal Plummage. Whether it'll be as restrained as that film or more bloody, we'll have to find out.

  • saw this in the offscreen festival in Brussels and loved it. A film to experience, not just watch!
