@ViciousVince it sure is, but the work/movement is still done in the horisontal plane. For best performance in sport we need to train in the sagittal (horisontal), transversal and the coronal plane. In MMA and all standing martial arts the athlet is forced to move in all directions.

hardcore woodsman training,,, done a training camp in Norway a few years ago with army in the winter. we had to take down a 200 kg hardwood with a handaxe, chop all branches off and pull it back to base camp 10km away by yourself. Grueling stuff. Training in nature is the best by far.. espeaciially in extreme weather. KILL THE PAIN lol... make me want to go train again
caveman workouts are the best, i hate the gym rats who spend there whole time infrount of the mirror posing, getting swetty covered in dust and worn the hell out is the way forward.

what I've learnt is breath out during the effort, breath in while getting ready for the next effort (example: pushups: breath out while pushing up, in while going down)
nice workout and all but are your damn elbows broken or something, your hardly getting any range of motion at all on those presses, youre just using momentum.

Great training , Just one thing I would advise and that is to ditch the belt , You shouldnt be wearing it through the whole workout , Your core muscle will switch off if you keep wearing a belt , the rest of you will get stronger but your have a weak core , get my drift ... only use the belt at the end of a workout for example deadlift's . the last few reps if they were very heavy etc . nice vid tho good training...........

we sometimes do tire complexs for my middle school football and it really does a lot. great workout no one can talk crap about you when they are never doing this. my workout isnt this intense. and i still ahve gotten built and ripped fast. great work
I modelled much of my workout after this. It's funny, my neighbor often comes out and bitches at me that I'm shaking the whole house (when I do tire flips or log flips). An improvement on your tire: use a bolt with an eye loop to tie the rope to, this way the rope diesn't fray because it doesn't touch the ground. You need two washers, two nuts (no pun intended) and a large eye loop. I also taped three ropes together,it's easier on the hands and is closer to grabbing a wrist. Thanks for the vid.
dont do whatever your doing at 6:12. if your too tired your gonna end up catching the tire w/ your feet and going face first in the dirt. And you are landing really hard on your feet which is bad for your ankles.
Just do box jumps w/ the tire. do as many as you can do in 1 min then rest for 1 min and then 45 secs of tire jumps then 45 secs of rest, then 30 secs of jump then 30 secs of rest then 15 secs of jumps then 15 secs of rest. Trust me that will really et you tired.

The idea behind this workout is very good, the problem with this person is, that the is executing some of these exercises wrong. A correct technic is very important, since when doing it wrong, you get bad results and you can get injured more easily.
So, to all the small mindet idiots here who arent able to see the flaws in his technic, pls dont tell anybody to workout themself, since you have just proofen to not have the slightest idea at all.
hardcore workout. Form on all the weights is terrible! why not lighten up and do it right with full range of motion and good posture. i know what it is like to train and i do train. you get better results with good technique.

@JMSHunter I think it primarily focuses on the core as the abs contract to bring the hammer down, and it also works biceps pulling the hammer up, and triceps forcing it down on to the tire.

@JMSHunter I think it primarily focuses on the core as the abs contract to bring the hammer down, and it also works biceps pulling the hammer up, and triceps forcing it down on to the tire.
