@AlexHedgie I agree! So many people think Dookie was there first record and dont have a clue about 1,039 Smooth or Kerplunk, the two kick ass Albums before it. I am a huge fan and I loved every record from 1,039 Smooth to Insomniac. I must admit though, I have been a little (just a little) disappointed in every record since. It also disappointed me a bit when Billie shelved his powder blue Fernandez guitar in favor of fancier models. That guitar provided us with that Green Day signature sound!
@AlexHedgie I became a fan of Green Day after American Idiot but I also love SO MANY of their old stuff and to be honest before AI I've never heard of them. I don't know why, I kinda feel ashamed about that. As soon as I got hooked on AI I started listening to all their older albums too. I love their old and new stuff just as equally but it does bother me when some people only listen to the newer singles and don't even give their other albums a chance. Basket Case is my favorite oldie of theirs!

Fuck! Don't you just hate the fact that almost everyone that sez they love Green Day only know American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown....Come on! I walk around almost everywhere and sing...uh...idk, King For A Day...and always get asked what I'm singing so I just ignore em'...Trust me if you know me and don't know anything about green day then...GO DIE IN A HOLE! I also hate the Pop, hip-hop and R&B fans...I can't stand them!!!

@AlexHedgie dude I feel the same way my folder is stuffed with Green Day and stupid ass 6th graders who"love" Green Day point at 1,039/smoothed out slappy hours and say "whos that from" I tell "green day you idiot" and they say"no Green Day hasn't had that album their first album was American Idiot" then I slap them and tell them to never called themseleves a Green Day fan. I also met a girl who thought 21 guns was an album! What dumbasses!!!!

@AlexHedgie I agree! So many people think Dookie was there first record and dont have a clue about 1,039 Smooth or Kerplunk, the two kick ass Albums before it. I am a huge fan and I loved every record from 1,039 Smooth to Insomniac. I must admit though, I have been a little (just a little) disappointed in every record since. It also disappointed me a bit when Billie shelved his powder blue Fernandez guitar in favor of fancier models. That guitar provided us with that Green Day signature sound!

@AlexHedgie I became a fan of Green Day after American Idiot but I also love SO MANY of their old stuff and to be honest before AI I've never heard of them. I don't know why, I kinda feel ashamed about that. As soon as I got hooked on AI I started listening to all their older albums too. I love their old and new stuff just as equally but it does bother me when some people only listen to the newer singles and don't even give their other albums a chance. Basket Case is my favorite oldie of theirs!

@JAWZxz not really, i love green day and everything but i dont consider myself as a ''big fan'' , im jun a fan. and were i live in ,or actually at my highschool, the people that try to fit in would lie about ''how much they know about hip-hop'' the people that lie about otther types of music (sometimes) its because they want to brag about knowing all bands and most of the times are people that have more friends than me, in fact im the one thats supposed to try to fit in not them...
