You should so get Wyvern mounts! Maybe only for the hardest elder dragons and other monsters. But imagine riding a Rathalos into battle! You could train it back in your town aswell give it new armour and abilities, but u have to have a high rank to tame harder monsters and eventually u can tame an elder dragon :O OMG

Dude, it may not seem like it, but in Unite, a ton of things different. Armor gives different skills, monsters have new behavior patterns, HR goes up to 9, Lotta new monsters. They also brought back old areas. Tons of new armor and weapons aswell

You are right. But the only exception is Lao Shan Lung, that IS a Dragon but still has 4 appendages, without wings.

Dragons are classified as beasts with scales, claws, two hind legs, two front legs, and two wings, sometimes a tail. Wyverns are basically dragons, but their wings ARE their front legs. Granted, some wyverns use their wings to walk, like how a Tigrex does, but they still only have four appendages, plus head and tail.

The old man near the Training School says that anything that cannot be classified as any particualr species is considered an "Elder Dragon". Like Kirin looking like a horse, but there isn't any species for horse, so its under "Elder Dragon". That's just my guess, anyway. Teo&Luna both look like winged lions, fatalis, daora and lao-shan are dragons. Chameleos... is a chameleon. lol and kirin is a horse. The special thing is that they escape after 25 minutes... Wyverns don't... lol

well, i do know i some difference about them but that's not from monster hunter (i don't know if this has anything to do with) a wyvern is just a fire spitting, murdering, wild beast. a dragon is a wise reptile with a high intelligence, who can learn spells and magic.
