  • 1:29 you can see something running as he's shooting.

  • Can you actually hit something standing in a moving aerial platform with an M107?

  • War Porn. And this way they get the tax writeoff for their adventures.

  • a ready nation

  • @spam1712 ready for what

  • @romannoo1 for bad stuph

  • Looks expensive.

  • what is the name of song please?

  • @borja1488 Asteroid by Audio Network

  • @chaostheoryfilms Very Thanks!

  • DAMN!!! i would never use or need this kind of training but DAMN, would it be an absolute BLAST to take that course!

  • 11 people got sniped from the helo

  • Gaaddamnn!!!

  • thats just the coolest fuckin thing i ever saw

  • Awesome

  • 1:31 WHAT WERE YOU SHOOTING AT?

  • @locosrayo Looks like the "chupacabras".

  • @locosrayo chupacabra

  • @Gameballer420 we use it in training because thats our job- use some common sense and realize that if you cant attain it or do not have it now then you shouldnt comment. its a great training aid- get off the xbox and go enlist and then you'll stop running your mouth on the internet

  • @yougot90hot I shoot my firearms at every opportunity I have. IF ANYTHING the things in this video are closer to call of duty then the things I do. I've been shooting for 5 years now and I will tell you that you don't need some training course of how to fire a 50 caliber rifle out of a helicopter to be self defensive. You just need common sense and a finger.

  • @Gameballer420 both of your comments show how arrogant you actually are, im not sure what you classify as shooting but this is not the civilian type of shooting (btw coast guard shoots from helicopters). magpul is a great TRAINING AID, maybe you should recognize that you arent not as capable as you think because paper targets dont shoot back- point your gun a another person and you will realize that five years isnt something you really boast about when it comes to capability

  • @yougot90hot

From my experience and research, using both firearms in a controlled environment and playing military simulation games such as paintball and airsoft, it seems as though the tactics advertised by Magpul are not only impractical, but could cost lives. Instead of focusing on quick movement from cover to cover, and any sensible soldier would, the Magpul instructors rarely use effective cover. In any sort of firefight, cover is your primary priority. That's common sense.

  • @boggypete0 you are quite right- cover is your friend and as i have said before, these videos are more for building confidence than anything. cover has saved me and many that i know

  • @yougot90hot Also, its not the 1960's. We aren't shooting M60's out of hueys anymore.

  • @Gameballer420 i do believe that five years is long enough to gain confidence- and that leads to arrogance without proper training. obviously this regimen isnt something thats is useful to you, so then you probably shouldnt comment bc you are an uninformed and ill-equiped candidate. stick to playing cod and going to the range to play soldier and let us, the real soldiers spend our lives training and doing your "bullshit" drills and going to war so you can maintain your lifestyle choice.

  • Comment removed

  • I plan on joining the reserves next year. As for me doing "bullshit" drills, I practice practice and practice some more for the simple mechanics of using a firearm, which is really what is essential in dangerous situations, Not how to fire a heavy caliber rifle out of a helicopter. Who exactly would you say is equipped to do training like this? If somebody owns a helicopter, they almost certainly don't own a gun. And even if they did they wouldn't need to use it in an average situation.

  • @Gameballer420 lol, the coast guard does more than civilians think... i agree with you that practice is neccessary and what you practice is defined by what you may encounter- i see this training as a confidence builder and nothing else! what i meant by ill-equiped was that you have never been in a sittuation where we have- you are a civilian (cant wait to be one myself). yes high caliber rifle dont belong on a bird bc they dont, per say, dogfight- in the traditional sense of the word.

  • @Gameballer420 watch dvd, not the youtube trailer. they explain why they use what they use.

  • @Gameballer420

Who says this is for the "average situation"?

It cost THOUSANDS of dollars and only a very select few get into these course.

Its all special forces guys, meaning...NOT YOU Mr. "reserves"....

  • @Breakneckhydra1 ... then why is there a guy with a vest that says POLICE on it?

  • @John234pwns

Cant a guy be retired / active military and yet still be in the police force?

    Yea thats what I thought....

  • @Breakneckhydra1 Retired, yes, but active? No. Only if you were reserve, which isn't exactly ninja special forces. Magpul Dynamics says this is for mil or LEO. You can check that yourself.

  • @John234pwns

I know this is for MIL / LEO, thats what I was saying.

  • @Breakneckhydra1 No, you said "Its all special forces guys, meaning...NOT YOU Mr. "reserves"...." Cops are not special forces.

  • @Gameballer420 You do know that guys provide overwatch from helicopters on a fairly routine basis? VBSS, HVT capture/kill missions, ect involve the very things shown in this video. You want to disable a small boat at sea before a VBSS team boards it? You fire a couple rounds of Mk 211 into it's engine from...a helicopter.

  • You're right, we shoot M240s and M134s out of Blackhawks and Chinooks.

  • I want to do this, but eat what u shoot!!! U happy PETA!!! I eat what I shoot!!! But PETA remember we have canine teeth hooah...blah blah.I would love to be trained Like that

To much money though ...have fun for me....

  • The Art of the Tactical Rifle takes $2500 for a 2 days weapons hot shooting course. Your only going for 2-4 hours airborne on a AS-350 with 37.7 gph and a huey with 110 gph in one day. $4 per gallon of Jet-A fuel. It'd help to create a simulator like they do for pilots. There was no Jetranger. i did learn a hell of a lot though from it, It ain't like the movies. Just don't sleep through it like most people do.

  • fwiw, none of those helicopters are designed to take fire. very thin skin, zero mechanical redundancy. a burst would put you into the trees.

  • Did I just see a Barret with a Micro Aimpoint sight?

  • @PrickRolled I don't know about the micro, but I saw one with maybe an Comp M2 or M3 on it, would have to go back and watch to be sure. Shooting through a high magnification scope from a helicopter would be pretty disorienting and you'd probably be throwing up before too long.

  • soi soi soi soi

  • If Magpul could have made this video 20 years ago when helicopter fuel prices were down you wouldn't be so bored watching this DVD. Be warned when you buy this, 10% of the video will show you a helicopter airborne. No wonder the DVD's $30 instead of the average $50.

  • @IMFDB lol those bell 206's can burn 50gal/hour, might cost em $800-900/hour to rent, if i remember right.

  • i would like trinnig by magpul but i live in thailand = =

  • I'm sorry if this sounds stupid but that first helicopter reminds me so much of the newer A-Team movie

  • very nicee ver niceee

  • So a magazine can destroy an aircraft but what about the shells?

  • @Sargy114 I'd think they're not heavy enough to be sucked into the tail rotor like a mag could, and probably not significant enough to destroy the rotor.

  • @Sargy114 To minimize shells flying into rotors you should use a brass catcher.

  • this is dangerous

  • @zackhanscom The Armed Forces Is Dangerous...

  • @zackhanscom it may look dangerous but i think the importance of the operation and the fact that shooting out of a moving aircraft makes you feel like a badass out weighs the danger.

  • magpul make some badass dvd sets.good work guys!

  • Any chance of a convoy operations DVD?

  • ahh! My two passions, flying and shooting. I think I just might have to get this. :) Looks awesome and exciting.

  • chris costa and travis haley have the coolest job ever

  • great video

  • Magpul, why do you have people shooting at animals in your videos? Please explain the context of 1:32.

  • @twcatube might be a coyote or other pest animal... who cares?

  • @Thewestcoastshooter Well, where's the reproducability and consistency in training if it's some random "pest" animal? How are different people getting the same instruction if it's so random? It just seems really bizarre and random and not something that would be a useful, repeatable, consistent training aid, so I really think it'd be good to hear from Magpul WTF that scene is about. Unless there's training value, and unless an instructor requested it why open up on it and show it here?

  • @twcatube Fair enough actually, that's well put. But i cant say i agree that magpul needs to explain themselves...if its just some pest animal, maybe a hog, or coyote than i assign it no value and i am largely indifferent to them shooting at it.

  • @twcatube - no prisoners from Death Row were available at the time of the filming.

Seriously, DO NOT eat anymore meat, nor use absolutely any animal by products for the rest of your life. Otherwise, admit you complete hypocrisy right now of placing animal life at the apex of your existence whenever it is convenient for you and how you insanely want to push your values as being more superior to those others have.

  • @digied hi animal rights idiot. how much is PeTA paying ya to troll internet places like these?

its very insane how you push peta bandwagon values is more superior than what others have.

YOU petards are the same people making up those FAKE ABUSE videos.

dont frak with me bitch because i have all the dirt peta president ingrid newkirk does not want YOU to know.

  • @digied dont even use the standard run of the petard mill of using AFFECTATION.

where you put humans in that situation in lieu of the animal.

Jesus Ate Fish with the multitudes.

    He Fished with the apostles

Dont even go religious in pushing your stupid anti-social values tailored by PeTA.

come on $60,000-/+ worth of annual donations and no animal shelters built?

    stop greenwashing.

  • @digied More assumptions, LOL ... you people are hilarious. Is any shred of dissent really this much a threat, that you have to dredge up this imaginary enemy to fight? You assume way, way too much.

  • @twcatube Grow. A. Pair.

  • @DonxxSollozzo You don't even know why I said that, do you? LOL ... typical macho BS response.

  • @twcatube your kind is the most backwards of greenwashing emo vegetarian retards.

trying to use emotional response to get your funny "superior Values" thru.

come on, two peta employees were caught killing loved but unwanted pets in a marked PETA van in ahoskie NC.

    talk about dirt in society.

view my vids to view my dirty evidences about Peta.

  • @nakazatoGTR Keep arguing with the voices in your head, eh? PETA are idiots. I love how you take issue with one damn thing I say and you think you know everything about me. Stop fighting the imaginary enemies list in your own mind and come back to reality. How are you EVER supposed to learn anything from anyone or connect with anyone when you assume so much?

  • @twcatube hilariously hypocritical. well i may apoligize for what i said but this statement of yours really has PeTARD stamped all over:

""no prisoners from Death Row were available at the time of the filming.

Seriously, DO NOT eat anymore meat, nor use absolutely any animal by products for the rest of your life.""

    hypocrite.

  • @twcatube now youre switchting topics to me being crazy? look who's crazy, the guy who has all the tax documents, news reports and even the official VDAC reports by peta killing 90% of submitted unwanted animals?

come on hypocrite back to topic, and again fix your crappy emo-hair to the side, clean that excess eye-liner.

  • @nakazatoGTR You're either unable to tell who's responding to you or you're just really into fighting with whoever. In any case, you've learned nothing because I already caught you out on this PETA line you're running, because PETA are idiots. You just assume anyone not "like" you must be the enemy. Stop assuming so much, goddammit. You're quoting stuff from other people and confusing it with what I said. I repeat, start listening to people more, stop guessing so much. You're bad at guessing.

  • @twcatube Looks like an animal doesn't it? Well uh, we're top of the food chain.. so, yeah.

  • @twcatube Moving target to practice on. There is your explanation.

  • hey you guys i ordered the moe handguards and ctr stock will they deliver the package by UPS or FedX Thanks. And i ordered on the 11 of december and its the 19 of december.

  • I want to do this even though I have absolutely no reason to.

  • he's definitely shooting at something at 1:31. Looks like a coyote.

  • @thenodnarb I believe its a moving target for training...

  • @thenodnarb or a hog :)

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah guys, in Texas, me and a few friends get paid to shoot wild boars from helos, before you freaks jump in my sack, look up the boar problem, the buggers are nasty, killed like five people, no joke.

  • Not to forsake discipline or maturity but MAAAAN that looks like fun!

  • it makes me sad that this will never be my job

  • @Xen1aserman you think like me.Fucking life right!?

  • what the hell some crazy guy shoot animal and people from helicopter

    , just for fun?

are you play too many tv games? idiots

  • Comment removed

  • @Heavenwu1980 When it comes to animals, it's actually a pretty normal form of hunting. For people, it might be normal for bounty hunting.

  • @Heavenwu1980 hunting like that is possible, but it's not really cheap, since one flight hour of a chopper is rather expensive. As for humans... well... police, border patrols, anti-terror units, etc, ever heard of those? Law enforcement? Doesn't ring a bell?

  • @Heavenwu1980 Not all people who do that are crazy. Forest rangers might have to shoot tranquilizers at rampaging animals or use deadly force if necessary.

  • Aerial Platform Operations... aircraft instead of helicopter... bunch of fancy ass words for some fancy ass americans =D

those kind of words are gonna make it sound more "professional" or even intelligent??? =D

  • @ooUooUoo What do you think a helicopter is? It's an aircraft. Rotary wings instead of the more common fixed wings. But if we'd do that with you, you'd most likely fall out of the chopper to your death and then shoot yourself on impact.

  • @higuma75 Amen!

  • Ill be buying this for my airsoft team since a series of Op's we are attending are including helo's

  • @brianchildres1 airsoft...on choppers?!!?!?! Now thats bad-A ^^

  • @brianchildres1

Don't bother - the rotor wash would blow away any bb's that you or your opponents would ever fire. A 5.56 round has a lot more mass than a plastic 6mm BB.

  • Man forget reloading while airborn! This is why they invented 100 rnd c-mags!

  • 9 people are dead

  • Badass :)

  • What colour is that vest?

  • tracer rounds would have been nice, helps for illustration purposes.

  • magpul has the coolest shit

  • @halotango3 Yea I mean some of their products seem kinda pointless and are more for looks than functionality but most of their stuff is pretty solid.

  • Screw the training DVD's these guys should start producing action movies. They'd make more money and we'd get to watch cooler action flicks.

  • @silverbulletmann cooler and realistic action stuf.. not just entertaining, but somethings viewers can learn like situation awarenes etc

  • I´m not offended by hunting but shooting an animal with a carbine from a helicopter somewhat takes the whole sportsmanship out of hunting

  • @PossibleTerrorist Are you freaking serious? Consistently shooting 4 inch groups on a moving target from an unknown (difficult to judge) distance from a fast moving platform with unknown wind condition or direction.

Sound like a piece of cake? I think you should reconsider your personal definition of 'sportsmanship'.

  • @jebustheone:

Well ... that was not what I was aiming for.

I meant that shooting an animal (I think it´s a coyote) from a chopper is not really fair for the animal.

When the hunter is on the ground it has much more chances to get away.

That was what I meant with sportsmanship

  • Wow 1:30 killing animals for practice Magpul better eat what they kill.

  • I swear Magpul Dynamics is the swiss army knife of tactical coolness what next are they going to teach upside down back flip tactical shooting

  • nice m107

  • @1:17 "The M4 Car-bean"

  • @BubbleGumNipples , yeah, that's how it is pronounced.

  • @1337airsoftgeek

I've only ever heard it pronounced "Car-by-n"

I've never heard anyone say Carbean.

Is that just American pronunciation? Although I've never head Americans say carbean until now either.

  • @BubbleGumNipples , it is the correct way to say "carbine" when referring to weaponry, both British and American English, I think.

  • @1337airsoftgeek

Aw man, That means everyone's been secretly laughing at me for my mispronunciation all this time :)

  • @1337airsoftgeek I've always pronounced it as ''Char-bain'', but that probably just because i'm Finnish.

  • @BattleRatProductions it doesnt really matter how you pronounce it. either way is correct. car-bean:car-by-n, roof:rough, toe-may-toe:toe-mah-toe. giving a shit about it doesn't make much sense.

  • @OhshitPositive I was just interested, i'm sorry if i gave a shit.

  • @BattleRatProductions lol, i didnt mean to reply to you, it was meant for 1337airsoft geek. sorry bout that

  • Bury your dead, swan song absolutly suits this video and makes it 10 more times badass

  • This looks like so much fun.

  • I must say they make a point of retaining everything as it would ruin an aircraft but surely spent brass could do the same damage?

  • @DPGFilms ultimately yeah it could, but the brass tends to fall way short of the tail rotor anyway, and even as a precaution they recommend putting a bag over the ejection port to retain brass 1:47

  • @airsoftboy1313 Yes, you can see the bag over the m4 but there is nothing over the saw, the 50 or the boltie. Advice fail :P

  • Is that a coyote they're engaging at 1:32? awesome!

  • Talk about death coming from above.

  • It's not as good as their other DVD's

  • 1:13 why hasnt any special operations members i have seen use accessories of that sort?? a silencer on an M249 would be beastly for night missions no doubt

  • @ThePhamine cause if you fire an m249 everyone knows who is in town ;-)

  • @ThePhamine it would dramatically increase the firing rate cause of the gas pressure. And dont you think loud noises in pitch black would be damn frightening?

  • @megamen10 hmmm does tht happen on most LMGs that have the capability 2 attach a silencer? and yes it does, but shooting an enemy's buddy while he's right next 2 his with a silenced M249 would be even more frightening bcuz it's @ nighttime, like a demon in the dark :)

  • @ThePhamine They'd hear the helicopter. The idea of having a silencer on there for that application is to minimize noise and blast affecting the person shooting it and those around them, not the target.

  • Barrett fire from heli :D

  • Song title?

  • Coast guard hitron snipers use aimpoints and eotechs on barretts to stop go fast drug boats. They engage at close range to insure hits on the engines. It's pretty effective.

  • Sexy!

  • what is the song ??????

  • isnt magpul great

  • This dvd is pretty awesome, but the majority of it is just lecture and there's really only about 4 minutes of flying at the end, but for someon in need of instruction but no time for classes this video is perfect, it would have just been nicer to see more flying

  • what is background music??????????? I like it soo much!!!

  • At :41pretty interesting to see a Barrett with a aimpoint on it. Wonder what it's like to shoot one with that?

  • at 1:32 u can see something running away from the bullets as they hit the hillside if u look closely right next the dirt as it kicks up

  • @enzo12ify1 thats the shadow of the dust cloud

  • @enzo12ify1 dude it looks like an animal like a deer or couger

  • @m4pyros if it was then why would they be shooting near it?

  • @enzo12ify1 but why would they be shooting near a person to hmmmmmmmmm.... an animal makes more sense to me

  • @m4pyros what? i never said a person i said a lizard

  • Chris Costa has the best job in the world.

  • @MadHatter34784 you are god damned right !

  • I thought you're supposed to use a brass catch on your rifle to prevent it from hitting the propeller and tail rotor

  • @Excalibur01

I doubt an ejected round will fly far enough to hit your own tail rotor and I highly doubt that a small spent cartridge like a 5.56 or a plastic 12 gauge shotgun shell will bend or do anything to a helicopter.

On the other hand, as you probably know, a PMAG will screw stuff up for sure.

  • @GUNxSPECTRE So what's the point of putting brass catchers on rifles in the many movies we see? If flying brass does little to affect the rotors, then what's the point?

  • @Excalibur01

It's used for those who reload their ammo themselves so that they don't have to spend hours to pick up the brass. If you're in an urban environment, I don't think people (or police) would appreciate having random pieces of metal falling on top of them, but if it's in the wild, who cares?

Personally, I think that there are only so many ways to ruin a helicopter, maybe by dropping a rifle mag in one from the top or shooting directly at the rotors.

  • @Excalibur01

To keep loose brass from interfereing w/ operations in the aircraft and to avoid FOD damage.

Loose brass into an intake can destroy an engine.

    Not reloading.

  • @Excalibur01 most of the time doing aerial ops our bird was a MD520N so we dont really care about brass flying out unless there were helis below us, but it was unlikely on the kind of missions we did - if you are are a civilian and want to do this make really good friends with a heli pilot and don't tell anyone about it or FAA will have your balls

  • travis is shooting a saiga,, it's in the dvd

  • شاهدوا على yuotube إبتكارات أردنيه ---> ---> -->>>>

watch on youtube jodanian Innovation, hand made -->

  • 1:26 can some one please tell me the name of this gun is it a saiga?

  • @Army888 its a M1014 Benelli shotgun SEALs model.

  • @matajesus4 no the tan one right after the benelli

  • @Army888 oh thats an AK

  • @Army888 upon closer review its a saiga

  • @matajesus4 do you know the model

  • @Army888 Dont know it seems it's a Saiga with aftermarket parts.

  • one animal...no???

  • What is he shooting at 1:30-1:34 ??????????

  • @matajesus4 No I meant what was he shooting at?

  • @beaconstructs oh my bad, lol maybe a rock, lol

  • @matajesus4 Haha take another look. Something is running. Like they fly around finding coyotes

  • @beaconstructs lol it does, or maybe its bambi lol

  • @matajesus4 Ha bambi makes a damn good moving target

  • @beaconstructs you bet, lol
