I don't think it would of helped, this was an 18000+ LBS sled so it was bound to happen because i stayed on the gas. There were a few other competitors who had bigger and badder trucks and broke earlier than i did.
Check your definition of what a half ton truck is, then check the payload capacity of an FJ.
I believe FJCamel has an early build FJ, of which the rear gears were made a little bit too brittle. It is very common for them to break when really stressed on pre07 builds.
@LaytonSky Also many owners myself included had leaks in the transfer due to malformed seal for the transfer case replaced under warranty. Hasn't been a problem since. I will keep the ring in mind though hadn't heard that my self but Also not dragging 18000 lbs hahaha do pull stumps and rocks upwards of 800-1200 lbs dragging out of mud but very careful

Digger is a strange name for an fj. They should have named it basher since it looks so cool.

@TheZa1994
If they were naming it on looks, I'd call it ball sack.

He should have shifted down earlier. Then the defective gear wouldn't have broken.

Maybe those other trucks made the same mistake.
But look it happened right when the tranny shifted down! Bad luck, someone should have provided that simple instruction, to keep the revs up.
