Thank you so much for posting. We immigrated to Colorado from Salzburg when I was a child, but these songs sung by this child were heard every Christmas in our home. My parents are departed now too, but tonight I sit listening with them in my heart
Takes me back to my childhood in Germany. I still have the 7" vinyl on Ariola 'Heidschi Bumbeidschi', but I have to say that the 'B' side still makes me cry...............Eine kleine Abschiedstrane.
Our greatest tradition of 10 000 year Europe gathering around the tree to celebrate our victories. Pagan religion had heads of our enemies hanging on mighty oak branches. Maybe we will see those of the kinds of Greenspan's, Rothschilds' and Bernanke's melons dangling on them. Or we will be laid waste to the Talmudic terror. God help us!
Lovely song and lovely singing. I can not help myself like all his singings. Music is universal language and anyone who can appreciate good music can communicate to each other through music. I don't have to be a German to enjoy his sing just as I don't have to be a German to like Mozart or Beethoven.
So many memories! My grandparents and parents are gone but I still celebrate Christmas according to some of the German customs that were taught to me. German/Austrian christmas songs are some of the most beautiful songs in the world. My brother is now stationed in Germany and I hope him and his little daughter appreciate Christmas in Germany. I spent one Christmas over there and it was my best!
Ok I'm homesick now..tears are coming..thank you so much for putting this video on you tube...we left Germany on 1956 I was 13.My fondest memory was coming into the room for Christmas Eve and seeing the Candles lit on the Christmas Tree.We didn't have much but the memories is worth a million. I still light my Candles on the Tree every Christmas Eve.My husband is near by with the Fire Exst. lol
While in Germany with NATO in the sixties I watched Heintje on TV. I was absolutely thrilled to find these videos on youtube. thanks for posting ... very very enjoyable and sure brings back many wonderful memories of my time in Germany.
i bought my first christmas cassette and it was his christmas music.

I'm from Indonesia, and don't understand Germany. But, it's prove that music is the world's language.......
I'm Heintje's fans since I was 8....
When will you come to Indonesia, Heintje?
For sure I'll watch your show if you come......
God Bless you and family....
