this video rocks. the original commercial is funny as all get out simply because of that waiter the way he says PROBLEM, so this guy ordealbyfire picked up on that. He may not be ready for Lucas Films but it was a fun thing to try.
I wonder if this guy, while having dinner at GC, had just gotten through telling his wife & kids how he "really showed" that TGIF-style restaurant by going in there and pretending to order just to show them they were overpriced - wonder if his mrs was embarassed?
My Dad used to pull stuff like that - only he was so cheap he would do it at Mickey-D's ("WHAT?!?!? THOSE PRICES ARE OUTRAGEOUS - I may have to take my business to Wendy's") or, "Here ya go, son, here's a dollar, learn to budget.."
This is one of my favorite current commercials - the middle-aged Dad (who has, to be fair, a wonderful little family) goes into a TGIF-type place to rub their noses with the fact that GC is a much better value (which it is), something that a family guy can certainly appreciate, and then we see him happily dining with his wife & kids, happy he's not getting fleeced - his little girl asks for more ribs, to which he happily replies, "No problem!" b/c he knows it won't cost him one more dime! :)

At my favorite restaurant, here's what would've happened.
Douchebag-"I want grilled fish, grilled steak, and grilled chicken."
Waiter-"Yes, sir."
Douchebag-"All for around $10."
Waiter-"Well, people in Hell want ice water! Get the hell out before I throw you out!"
