@shadowsta9 I don't know if the tree really dies, but when the tree is cut down, and next time you come back to the place, it reappears, not much real life trees, but I don't about Torterra and what would happen to it when the tree is cut off.

@TrapsterJ You mean Ariados doesn't have many Bug type moves, well it can learn Bug Bite, which isn't that good, and it would have Shadow Sneak and Poison Jab, which are other good moves and Protect.

can someone test out my stantler strategy i made, have a stantler that knows imprison, thunderbolt, phyic, and earthquake. imprison makes it so your oppents pokemon can't use those moves for the whole battle, but you still can.

@Mchammer489 That's a good moveset on a mixed sweeping Stantler, with Thunderbolt and Psychic as good moves, and Earthquake for Rock and Steel types, and Imprison to prevent opponents from using the moves, like many Earthquake users, like Metagross or Hippowdon.

Could you use Gloom? Because it dosen't have alot of attacks,or not at least any powerful ones,I myself have a Vileplume and I don't think that I evolved it well enough,because Gloom never did have any good moves.

@TrapsterJ I'll try Gloom out, because it doesn't have a good moveset, it can even get SolarBeam, Sludge Bomb, Hidden Power and Sunny Day, and a Modest Nature, EVs in Speed and Special Attack.

@lancebagabag Yeah, I would, because Treecko doesn't have many Special Attacks, with only Energy Ball, Dragonbreath, Hidden Power and Protect. So I'll go for a Physical Sweeper with an Adamant Nature, EVs in Speed and Attack, moves would be Seed Bomb, ThunderPunch, Crunch and Protect.

I guess with Wonder Guard, Shedinja must have the most immunitys, many people give Shedinja a Focus Sash to survive Fire or Rock type moves.

How would you get the right IVs for Hidden Power?

I guess Charmander would be, Special Attack and Speed for EVs, and moves would be Flamethrower, AncientPower, Will-o-Wisp and Hidden Power.

A Bellsprout would be good, I'd go for an Adamant Nature and EVs in Attack and Speed.

Bellsprout would have Seed Bomb, Sucker Punch, Swords Dance and Sunny Day.

For a Modest Nature, EVs in Special Attack and Speed, and moves would be Energy Ball, Sludge Bomb, Sunny Day and Protect. It gets Weather Ball in HeartGold & SoulSilver, but because it isn't out in UK, I'll go for Protect.

@blijoms Well Bulbasaur doesn't have Chlorophyll until 5th Generation, where it had it as a Hidden Ability, or Dream World Ability as most people often call them.

You know back in Ruby & Sapphire, Beldum's only move was Take Down. In Platinum, it gets better moves like Iron Defense, Iron Head and Zen Headbutt. Also EVs on Attack and Defense, Nature would be Impish or Adamant.

I gave it Water Spout, if Wailmer loses HP, Surf would do good. Ice Beam for Grass. And If Wailmer is very low on HP, I'd use Rest to recover.

Yes, a Pichu with Special Attacks is quite good, I would go for Timid or Modest as Natures. Also moves would be Thunderbolt, Grass Knot, Thunder Wave and Nasty Plot.

So Venonat doesn't have any Attacking moves. So it might have Protect, Attract, Substitute and Toxic Spikes.

Actually, I took advantage of the fact that it's the only Pokemon who can pull off Agility/Sleep Powder/Baton Pass really well (with Compoundeyes). Supersonic is the fourth move, but I'm thinking of changing it.

Your idea sounds good too. You'd just have to make sure it had enough health to set up Substitute.

CompoundEyes is quite good ability on Venonat, so Agility, Sleep Powder and Baton Pass are quite good for passing onto a slow member.

SuperSonic is good as it can confuse opponents.

Also about Substitute, do you mean giving Leftovers to Venonat so it can restore health every turn?
