sorry ignore the comment about upgrading the yamaha reciever i've just read ur description it looks allot like one of the older yamaha amps but the comment about upgrading ur mids still stands with around 100 watts rms per channel your wasting the potential of ur reciever try investing in a decent front especially because thats where the bulk of your sounds coming for dialog etc.

i gave this a 3/5, because it's not that great. HD projectors tend to blur the image and it is not as crisp as on TVs, so i dont know why you think projectors are quality HD products.

really? Do they use LCD or plasma screens on movie theaters? the point of having a home theater is to have the look and feeling of a real theater right in the privacy of your own home.

I have a Sony HD projector and it looks great. it also has a better contrast ratio than any tv. yes the pixels may be bigger but so is the screen (mine is 11FT), but simply put tv's cant match projector in size, so yes the pixels will be larger and look blurred if you are right on top of the screen.

Was the projector you watched focused?
