GM is showing its incompetence again.

Saab which cars are better built, better looking, safer, more valuable, sportier than almost anything GM makes, is closed just so GM could save those other crap brands it sells.

Preposterous, they should be bitchslapped by the automotive community for this one.

simple. they made crap cars cheap, so imported eu and jpn cars are too expensive and most people would buy american.

GM could sell to spyker, but it didn't want to for FEAR of future competition. SAAB was doing ok, but now has to die because GM is inefficient, financially top heavy and makes 3rd world cars.

well when you say ferrari watch. don't forget that ferrari have done the exact same thing as aston with their fiat abarth ferrari edition. Has an even crazier interior i think. Thing is i think the 500 actually looks good.. the cygnet however.. well at least i'd have to own an Aston to buy one anyway so even if i did own the cygnet i'd still be happy cause i'd have it next to a DB9 in my garage

global warming is the excess damage done by the significant amount of c02 emissions released into the atmosphere, over the years the climate has been getting increasingly unstable as the co2 emissions released got more and more. That is why we try to use solar panels and wind turbines to make electricity, the same philosophy goes into trying to make cars more energy efficient thus decreasing the c02 emissions :)

I thought Koenigsegg had bought Saab?! It's making me sad to see Saab go. Back when they weren't in GM's stable, and actually made innovative and exiting cars, i really loved them.
