alright. i did a jump. how do you continue jumping though? is there a speacial method that you use or something?

@darkshniff the thing about continueing is you have to make sure there is enough time for the game to load properly after going into menu and changing weapons if you go out of the menu too early the game won't respond right. some areas need less time in the menu before you continue some areas need more, after giving the menu enough time press start and when the screen goes black when going back to the game start pressing R2 then L1.

does this glitch work on the remastered gow2 for the ps3? because every time i try to do it, it works up until i have to press start and then OOO. After i un-pause, kratos ALWAYS has the blades of athena out instead of the hammer. am i doing something wrong?

@Aaronopoliss Yeah, this can be done on PS2 and remastered PS3. All the info that you need to do this is in the video, or in the comments. Please read through them, I'm sure I've answered this question a few times.

WTF!!!! its not fricken workin how fast do you have to flick " start, R2, L1, start'? or how fast all together?

@iamtheman21412 Quite fast, probably 1 second or less. You want to press start then R2 and then do "Might of the King" and press start again (at the peak of "Might of the King") all before Kratos has a chance to fall.

It's tricky at first, but eventually you do it without even thinking about it...takes some practice.

@alisnake222 When you get through the game, you can then play the game in "Bonus Play". That means that you get to start the game with all the weapons and orbs that you collected during ur first playthrough.

@alisnake222 There are no infinite health glitches in GoW2, there are infinite/regenerating magic glitches. But nothing like the infinite health glitches in GoWIII.

oke, why do you actually need 2 turn on the poseidon rage?? what does it do when u turn it on at the jump?

@haikaz1 It resets your falling momentum, it makes the jump infinite as opposed to finite.

You have no idea how the final note helped me since this WAS my problem while doing infinite jump and only managed to do 2high jumps in a row.

Ascending to grab hook at the end was kewl...lol

Umm... i dont know why but every time i tries to switch to BH after the first high jump, Karatos just comes down, i've seen other guides on how to do High jump and have mastered it.....But i just dont get how to Infinite high jump!!!!!

This is the most common problem, but has an easy solution.

If you find that the hammer doesnt load straight away after leaving the menu and pressing R2, it means that you need to wait a little longer inside the "menu" AFTER pressing "O", "O", "O". (If you exit the menu too soon after pressing 'O", "O", "O", the game has not had time to load the hammer)

Solution: Wait longer in the menu after "O", "O", "O".

I suppose you didn't wish to distract by mentioning Icarus Ascension usage (where you can have BH selected during the lift/pursue) rather than Olympic Ascension.

0:52 This is where they'll begin to struggle unless they really keep at the practice. If their disc is scratched at all, you may need to note that they'll have to listen to their PS2 and wait a second (or more *variable* before unpausing to continue the process.

1:00 You could also Icarus Lift into MotK (worth 2-3 'lifts') then glide if you're near the quota of 'lifts' necessary to clear a given 'jump'.

Then there is the matter of PR for momentum.

Redirecting yourself due to the backwards movement of MotK isn't too hard. Requires a bit of practice I feel.

Things start to get complicated when you toss in other techniques for a special jump case.

Pretty good, I didn't see false info anywhere. One thing that could be mentioned is that you have to have at least 2 sub-weapons to do infinite jump (for weapon cycling to be possible).
