@TheEpicThree Well, I bought mine new back in 2007 for arounf $1700. But I'm sure you can them less than that used on Ebay. But I wouldn't hold my breath for one under a grand.
@chrisslipknt444 To be honest. I'm not completely sure. I took this bass to get upgraded to a luither in a guitar repair shop. I believe he just popped the original pup out of the RIC, and attached the Bartolini in on that little board the original was attached to, so the metal cover would be able to fit on.

As for the preamp? NTMB-918F preamp. It has 3 band preamp and a blend knob. It works great for me, but it depends on if you like 2 band or 3 band eq better. There is a difference in frequency.

Been playing for 35 years...trust me..Need more practice...Rics are not meant for dropped tuning. Drop what ya want, but...

@wolfencop I would take your "constructive criticism", even though I made a little bit of mistakes, I won't. Because I can not believe a word you said. Why? Because you have no proof of being a 35 year veteran. No Vids. I call bull shit. Sorry, that's just how it is. I rushed to make this vid, and I didn't take the time to be perfect. I made this just to show my friend at the Warwick Forums. They liked it, and that's all that matters to me.
@ArmorOfChrist777 Maybe some, but it added a new layer of characteristics to my Ric. I believe it gives me a tone that separates me from other Ric owners. Plus, Barts add more Low Mids and the original pups have more of a High Mids to them.

how does the bridge pickup go on the bass? like though the orriginal ric screws or do you have to put different ones in?

What preamp did you install?
I want to install two Bartolini BD's with a preamp on a Warmoth bass I'm building
and I don't know which pre amp to purchase.
