Corporal punishment would be one way of dealing with or avoiding that situation. There are other forms of discipline out there, but I don't know much about them, since I don't have any kids. If someone were to suddenly hand me a child for an afternoon, I would probably behave just like this guy, which is how this commercial conveys exactly the message it means to to its target audience. Of course, in my case, childbirth would be a much stronger incentive to use a condom. ;)

1) I've been through childbirth twice, and let me tell you, it's not that bad, once being only on August fifth. The commercial is depicting a dad who dosen't take care of his child in the right manner, and he is ashamed of the boy, also this man wasn't just 'hannded' this child, he is obviously his father.
