I to have questions for the truth I remember years ago a girl at my job worked for a company that sold fatburner pills people were losing weight in the office left and right including me I was going to the bathroom a little more than usual and sweating but as the weeks went on my pants size was shrinking IT WORKED the the scare happened and the same product had no ephedra in it it did not work i had no negative symptoms at all and I followed the instructions carefully now nothing I use works.

1. The ban on Ephedra was lifted by a fed judge years back.

2. Aspirin and even fluoride laced toothpaste is responsible for several hundred deaths/yr without getting banned.

Ephedra was banned because of reports of deaths. However, what they fail to properly report is that these deaths all occured from overdoses and not the regular dosage.

For example, do reserach and you will uncover newstories about "Teen Overdoses On Ehepha And Dies Parents Outraged", etc.

I can recall 2 stories offhand and each involved a young person overdosing and by overdosing I'm talling like 30+ pills and then proceeding to play sports right afterwards. Bring back Ephedra!

@BoyintheMachine I read the exact same stories of those who died taking about 5 times as much or more than what was said to take on the bottle. Then they did exercise on top of it and that raised their blood pressure, or they were obese people who already had high blood pressure or heart disease problems.

No conspiracy. Herbal supplements for weightloss do NOT work. The reason they're banned is because they have have dangerous side effects. Just create a slight calorie deficit daily and you will lose weight. That is THEE only way you will lose weight.

I do not understand why everytime a herbal supplement works for weightloss it becomes dangerous and illegal, but the pharmeceutical companies and plastic surgeons get rich doing things that are more dangerous and nothing is done. You hit the nail right on the head. Yeah the side effects can be fatal but that is if you abuse it. Hell why not band all the drugs with bad side effect? Because the pharmeceutical companies will lose money. I use to take it and was cut up. Now it's extremely hard to get the weight off. There is another supplement that I will try soon that will have the same effects as ephedra, hopefully. I will not post it because it will probably be banned as well. If it does work, I'll just say it works.

I know a guy who's wife used to take Ephedra before long walks. I used to do the same. It gave me great energy for the walk. She would take it before and carry a few tablet with her. Her husband, the guy I'm talking about , played 15 years as a quarterback in the NFL. (1960-1975). He told he not to take that stuff. She continued. When they found her body, she was several miles out on her walk and they estimate she had taken 3 Ephedra pills. 2 is the limit on the bottle I know,..but still.

Ephedra does work. I agree if you abuse it, it can be dangerous. But If you use it safely, it works.
