  • Albert Finney as Scrooge is so cute.

  • what a classic

  • I'm 37. I've lamented past relationship failures and even was brought to tears watching this poor old miser see his love walk away forever. Before you beat yourself up consider that in the real world the women might have left later anyway. Perhaps for a richer old man who had more free time :). Seek out love and I hope that you attain it from an honorable woman. But don't beat yourself up and keep making that money. If nothing else it does help in just about every matter in our lives.

  • I cry every Christmas when I hear this sad song.

  • 2:42 to 4:23 they say regret is the worst part of aging, looking back and agonizing over what might have been. I think Scrooge shows that pretty well here. I'll bet he'd trade all his riches to be back in his younger body with a chance to do it over, only differently.

  • Maybe that bullshit with the scales was just her way of complaining that he didn't buy her a big enough rock.

  • @antihero355 Don't you know it! The modern American woman today!

  • i adore this film!

  • Shh. I'm trying to listen.

  • @karda009 lolol

  • "Ebeneezer Scrooge, the sins of man are huge,

a never-ending symphony, of villainy and infamy,

    duplicity, deceit, and subterfuge,

and no one's worse, than Ebeneezer Scrooge.

Tho man's a handy candidate for Hell, I must admit Life sometimes has it's brighter side as well.

I like life, life likes me, life and I fairly fully agree,

Life is fine, life is good, especially mine which is just as it should... be

  • @keith4291 Me 2,

    But I'm 23

  • HUZZAH!!!!

  • OMG!

  • LOL

  • Poor Ebenezer

  • Poor Belle

  • No one but Kenneth Moore could play the GOCP...

  • @patvd95 Long Live Kenneth Moore!!!!

  • imo, "You... You..." is the best song in this production. It's not the best song ever written, but it's so emotionally evocative, & thanks to Finney's spot-on performance, you see & hear Scrooge's eternal regret, recalling all he lost. I tear up every time.

  • @copyeditor1252 Not Me

  • I`m 31 years old and single. No boyfriend and no no marraige unless you have money, not here in Malta.

  • @SuperAb123456 Where's Malta?

  • whatever, these days the woman wouldn't even look at him unless he was still in that chair counting!!

  • @keith4291 thank you :)...nice to know there are others all alone in the world with noone to love them

  • 9:59 Scrooge's foot is on fire :) haha

  • live your life as you want it.

    nobody wil judge you.

enjoy, you are safe and always wil be

  • Belle: would you love me?

    Old Scrooge: yes.

    Christmas Past: sshh.

    Old Scrooge: I still do.

Christmas Past: I'm trying to listen!

  • WTF WHO COULD NOT LIKE CHRISTMAS PRESENT!? YES ALL CAPS! AS SHOULD BE! He is awsome lol "i like life"

  • Give me my 10:08!

  • I don't like ghost of christmas present Xp

  • The milk of human kindness looks remarkably like red wine~!

  • I don't want money, I just want to marry a strong, independent woman who's politics are to the left of Karl Marx; a hip, hell-raising feminist who aborts her kids and loves wealth and materialism more than life itself! When I look around at women today I thank God that I'm single for the rest of my life! The dream of a loving, caring woman dose'nt really exist in this day and age, so more power to Scrooge for his choices! A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush! Who needs the agravation? =(

  • Drink the milk of human kindness! I like life!!

  • Maybe You're gay ?

  • @longshotbrtn You seem to have a 4.75 inch erect penis.

  • @niteholler u measured it?

  • at 08:14 he was probably drinking Mountain Dew

  • @RUMELSKIN Spiked wuth rum??? I have had rum and Coke...Will try rum and Mountain Dew

  • hee Kenneth More is always delighful

  • Lolol I love the scene when he drinks the wine, really cute

  • i fear of this everyday too, im 34 and always single and Im so twisted on paying bills that I dont look for a good woman..Im so pissed at scrooge, she loved him very much and he ditched her for the coin...money can be replaced but she couldnt..what an idiot. what do you think?

  • @actuary33 Sorry that Im responding a month later! In regards to your question..money CANNOT buy happiness or people. While I think its good to make sure things are straight financially, the ones that we care for NEED to come first. Speaking for myself..I would rather have someone who can fill my heart than my pockets! God Bless!

  • @phillygrl69 Do you trully believe that your heart should be filled rather than your pockets? May I ask, when it comes to someone, what do you desire for them to fill your heart with rather than your pockets?

  • @phillygrl69 Same To You

  • @actuary33 i agree,,pick love everytime ,,fuck money and bills and cars etc etc means nothing,,love forever :):) xx and u no if u fear this thats a good thing coz ur aware of it good luck ,,:)

  • @actuary33 You believe paying bills is more important than looking for a good woman? You're such a pervert...and a very twisted pervert.

  • @actuary33 I wish I was 34 again even 40. I let two get away and now I would do anything reasonable to have another half!

  • @sunflyer40 yes I feel for you..this scene hit a cord with all of us enternally single people...he had it all and I would give my right arm to be loved like that.

  • @sunflyer40 dont worry remember having is not so pleasing a thing afterall as wanting it may not be logical but it is often true

  • @brucedavis76 Ah, but I have had it and hope to have it again soon and I won't be in any way wanting to be without it. Ever again. Being in an unhealthy relationship is worse than being single but, one can avoid that with some precaution. Some people are fine being single that is a blessing. Thanks,

  • @actuary33 you should sign up to plenty of fish dot com. lol

  • @actuary33 I Think He Needs To Change His Ways!

  • @actuary33 Oh my friend, I cannot agree more. Every christmas I watch this film, and everytime I watch it, I think about the christmas that my fiance left me. Now her reasons were leaving me were somewhat petty and small, but nonetheless, it reminds me that if I had just change a few small, small things, I would be happily married to her and holding her today.

  • @75flash Thanks man, Id give anything to have just that experience or to be loved period. But they never do, so Im all alone in the world.

  • @actuary33 You won't find her here in America. These self-obsessed feminists are after every dime they can get and won't look your way with even so much as a glance unless you're loaded with cash! Better to be visited by the ghost's of Christmas past then the demon's of female offering!

  • @MrSchultzstaffel Isnt that the truth!! Women today are selfish pigs, care only about themselves and not the team..I dont make alot of money and I get judged. SHouldve told them Im a porn star! ahaha

  • @actuary33 Scrooge had these options with women open to him in this story because he was rich and ambitious. Because he was going places in life. Do you honestly believe that would have been the case had he been another run of the mill, filthy chimmney-sweep of the day? She may have been a good and honest woman here, but if that were so then she wouldn't have taken even so much as a second look at him.

  • "come here, you werid littie man!"

  • Lousy on Scrooge, fear I shall end up this way

  • Heartbreaking
