The Arabs rejected and never signed that partition planubmitted by UN in 1948. Technically then, It was not partitioned because you needed the 2 parties to sign, Arabs broke was on 4 fronts, and captured Judea & Samaria what is known as the West Bank. Technically the land was not partitioned, and in 1967 Israel won BACK their land west of the Jordan river.
